Big Brother stars Jordan Sangha and Henry Southan have split after 17 months together.

The couple, who unexpectedly fell in love following their encounter on the ITV program, shared the heartbreaking update that they have chosen to part ways.

On Tuesday, Henry shared on Instagram Stories that after much contemplation, Jordan and he had chosen to part ways.

‘It’s incredibly sad, and we’re both hurting, but we know it’s the right step.

I am deeply appreciative of the love and backing you’ve extended to me – thank you from the bottom of my heart. At this moment, I kindly ask for a bit of privacy as I work through some personal matters quietly. Your understanding is greatly valued.

Jordan subsequently posted about the separation, expressing it as follows: “Following numerous joyful moments, cherished memories, and unforgettable encounters, Henry and I have decided to move forward separately.

‘I want to thank everyone who has supported us. We will always remain close friends. Cheers.’ 

Nine days prior to our separation announcement, my relationship with Jordan appeared more passionate than ever. We shared a joint appearance on Celebrity Big Brother: Late and Live, reenacting our memorable hot tub kiss, which seemed to ignite the spark between us even more.

During the initial season of Big Brother on ITV in 2023, viewers found themselves captivated as a deep friendship between contestants transformed into a romantic relationship. Remarkably, only a week following their stint on Big Brother, they declared their relationship official.

The duo sent fans into a frenzy back in November with how they debuted their short-lived podcast.

But, things weren’t exactly what they appeared to be; the playful post turned out to be a teaser for their new Club Sandwich podcast.

The video depicted a delightful scene of Henry and Jordan, clearly fond of each other, casually walking hand in hand, reminiscent of a romantic walk. However, unexpectedly, the food enthusiast dropped to his knee.

Instead of giving his boyfriend a ring, Henry opted for a sandwich, saving the big announcement – the debut of their new podcast – for later.

Sharing the clip on both of their accounts, the post was captioned: ‘We said yes!’

Last March, Jordan and Henry expressed surprise at the heartwarming responses from fans about their relationship on social media platforms.

They frequently shared their romantic journey on social media, and the ex-lawyer, who’s known for his witty humor, isn’t new to posting heartfelt poems about his partner.

Following Jordan’s win on Big Brother, the duo disclosed that they reconnected within only three days of departing the house, after a lively farewell gathering.

Jordan expressed that it seemed unusual to him, but when he received your phone number, he found himself momentarily startled that the person behind it is truly a part of the physical world.

Henry remarked: “Leaving each other at that breakfast felt strange, let me tell you. Alright, it’s time for me to go.

‘I think I went home for maybe like three nights, and then I came straight to yours.’

Speaking about their initial selfie, Jordan humorously commented: “That’s where our first memory was captured… We likely rested in a spot that wasn’t exactly recommended – I’ll leave the specifics to your imagination. It was quite a romantic moment!

Later on, Jordan surprised everyone when he published an Instagram post at an early hour, confirming his relationship with Henry. He wrote, “Perhaps the title ‘boyfriend’ suits us now, and I can’t help but keep smiling.

Henry shared: “That was quite intriguing. In a way, we had casually discussed the potential future stages of our relationship, such as becoming boyfriends, although we hadn’t officially addressed it yet.

One night, at around 1am, Jordan sends me a message saying he thinks we can now call each other boyfriends. I discover this when I wake up the next morning, as Capital FM is playing automatically.
