Big Brother contestants Elsa Rae and Marcus John announced they are expecting a baby, just half a year after first connecting on the reality show.
I was so thrilled to see the news shared by this amazing couple! They announced on Instagram that they’re expecting a baby in October 2026 – such wonderful news! They shared a sweet message saying they’ve been keeping a little secret, and honestly, you can just feel their excitement. It’s lovely to see!
It featured a snap of her scan and a baby grow as well as some adorable knitted booties.
Celebrities like Amy Hart and Georgia Harrison, both known from Love Island, were quick to offer their congratulations in the comments.
Last September, viewers of Big Brother saw Elsa, 22, and Marcus, 23, meet and quickly become a couple inside the house.
Even though they had a few tense and uncomfortable interactions while filming, the two have been very close friends ever since the show finished in November.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m always thrilled to hear about new beginnings, and this couple’s news is especially sweet! They shared with me that becoming first-time parents is both incredibly exciting and a little nerve-wracking – totally normal, by the way! It wasn’t planned, but they say it’s the most wonderful surprise imaginable, and they’re eagerly anticipating this new adventure and chapter in their lives. Honestly, it’s a beautiful thing to witness!
Oh my gosh, Elsa is just… everything! She said she never expected to find love, let alone her soulmate, on Big Brother, but when Will and AJ asked her what she hoped would come of it all, she said she just wanted a happy ending! And she got it! She literally said she couldn’t be happier, and honestly, can you blame her? It’s the perfect Big Brother romance, I’m so obsessed!
‘There’s no birth plan yet as it’s still too early to know.’
The couple now plan to move in together in Manchester.
Elsa, originally from Essex, became well-known due to her highly publicized three-year relationship with online personality Ed Matthews.
Andrew Tate follower Ryan Matthews, 23, gained notoriety after appearing in Louis Theroux’s Netflix documentary, ‘Inside The Manosphere.’ He’s a social media personality with over 389,000 Instagram followers, known for creating attention-grabbing videos and sharing harmful, anti-women beliefs with his team.
The group includes Harrison Sullivan, 24, more commonly known online as ‘HSTikkyTokky’.
I’ve seen people online calling them ‘Poundland Andrew Tates’ – it’s a pretty harsh nickname, but it’s meant to highlight how they seem to be copying the really awful, sexist ideas of that influencer, Andrew Tate, who’s known for being incredibly toxic and promoting harmful masculinity. It’s not a compliment, that’s for sure!
They’re trying to be like Andrew Tate, 38, who promotes a lifestyle of confidence, traditional masculinity, and wealth to his mostly male followers.
Elsa and Ed separated last July after rumors surfaced that he had been unfaithful. This happened after she chose to appear on a TV show, and some believed his actions were in response to her decision.
Elsa gained a large social media following – now over 450,000 – after being publicly linked to Ed, as she often appeared with him online.
Richard Storry was crowned the winner of Big Brother UK 2025 taking home the £100,000 prize.
At age 60, he became the oldest person to ever win the non-professional competition in the show’s 25 seasons, beating out Elsa in the finale.
Richard, who admitted he almost didn’t apply for Big Brother, was left visibly stunned by the news.
After winning the show, Richard learned he’d made history as the oldest contestant ever to win in its 25 seasons, as announced by hosts AJ Odudu and Will Best.
Elsa came in second place on Big Brother and received a huge ovation as she left the house.
Social media exploded with reactions after seeing the highlights, with many fans declaring Richard the clear and deserving winner and questioning how anyone could find him boring.
I’m thrilled for Richard! It’s not that he needed the win, but it’s amazing that he’s made history as the oldest person to ever win Big Brother!
I had mixed feelings about this series overall, but I think the right person won. Congratulations, Richard!
‘Richard is such a worthy and deserving winner.’
At the end of the show, viewers saw Tate finish sixth, and then AJ and Will revealed that Emily had come in fifth.
It was then announced farmer Cameron had finished in fourth place before Jenny finished in third.
The show also saw ITV officially confirm Big Brother will return for another series in 2026.
