Big Brother star Tully Smyth called out for ‘obvious photoshop’ on selfies – and she delivers a classy response

Big Brother star Tully Smyth called out for 'obvious photoshop' on selfies - and she delivers a classy response

As a lifestyle expert and observer of social media trends, I have seen many instances of accusations of photoshopping in the influencer community. However, the recent allegations against Tully Smyth struck a chord with me because of her unique life experience and the graceful way she handled the situation.

Tully Smyth was accused of ‘photoshopping’ some of her selfies this week.

A well-known ex-contestant on Big Brother Australia drew attention when celeb_spellcheck, an Instagram account, shared two pictures containing inconsistencies and pointed them out.

One photo showed an oddly bending door frame, and a strange shape to her long black dress.

A second image included a sloping door, making the changeroom the beauty was in look quite titled.

“Could you ask your friend to remove a clearly manipulated image from their post?” or “Instead of leaving a comment, suggest your friend take down the heavily edited photo.”

Tully appeared to respond to the accusation, reposting the black dress image with no anomalies.

She wrote: “Disregard the little black dress; go for the longer one instead.” (Feel free to try this out – I promise it’s a keeper! *wink*)

“One of her commenters complimented, ‘You handled that situation like a pro and look beautiful,’ to which Tully responded with a kissing emoji.”

Daily Mail Australia has reached out to Tully Smyth for further comment.

It comes after the former reality star ‘hard launched’ her new relationship late last year.

The influencer, 36, took to social media to show off her new beau, Ned Rohrt.

An internet celebrity posted a collection of affectionate photos with Rohrt, a dentist from Melbourne, accompanied by a caption reminiscent of Taylor Swift’s famous tune “Karma.” (Or) The well-known internet figure published a string of sweet images featuring Rohrt, a dental professional based in Melbourne, and wrote a heartfelt caption drawing inspiration from Taylor Swift’s chart-topping single “Karma.”

Using Swift’s lyrics as inspiration, the caption could be rephrased as: “Karma, with its teeth bared, returns directly to me.”

Tully’s mention of Ned’s teeth is likely a result of his occupation, while the photos she shared also highlight his gleaming, straight-set and radiant smile.

Based on Ned’s dental practice website, there are two areas of dentistry that particularly capture his attention: Oral Surgery and Cosmetic Dentistry.

Based on her most recent posts, Tully and Ned are still madly in love and going strong.

Seven months ago, Tully parted ways with her long-term partner, Daniel Parisi, making way for a fresh romance.

The Instagram duo ended their romance, finding it difficult to keep their relationship going once Daniel relocated to America for his desired career opportunity.
