Big Brother star Reggie Bird reveals she may be permanently banned from social media after sharing a video of her Spanx underwear: ‘I think someone seriously has it in for me’
As an ardent follower of Reggie Bird, I find myself deeply moved by her latest predicament. This isn’t just about a woman being unfairly penalized for sharing harmless content; it’s about a resilient spirit fighting against all odds.
Reggie Bird expressed her dismay after her latest Facebook video was removed, seemingly for breaching their rules.
50-year-old, twice crowned Big Brother champion, shared on Instagram on Tuesday that she might get banned following a caution for posting a video where she purchases Spanx shaping undergarments.
She expressed her belief that someone may be targeting her, as she keeps receiving restriction notices from Facebook.
In regards to the video I recently made, where I tried on Spanx, people are saying it was inappropriate or sexual. However, let me clarify that there was absolutely no sexual intent when I tried on Spanx undergarments.
I, too, can’t help but mention another video she shared, where she was inflating a pool floatie to the brim – alas, it was taken down due to policy breaches, just like mine would be if I dared attempt such antics.
Reggie added, “Then, I was marked once more due to a video showing me inflating a pool floatie. There was absolutely no suggestive or sexual content in it.
“It’s hard to believe that inflating a floaty water toy could lead to a ban, isn’t it?
Reggie said ‘someone’ is reporting all her videos and she ‘can’t even appeal’.
It seems like this platform resembles Facebook, yet I find myself frequently encountering issues where my posts are reported excessively. I believe someone is taking this action quite seriously, which leaves me unable to file an appeal. It’s quite bizarre, isn’t it?
She expressed her bewilderment by saying, “I’ve encountered crazier things than posting pictures of trying on underwear and inflating a pool floatie on social media, but I’m at a loss as to what to do next. I simply can’t figure out how to handle this situation anymore, it’s just insane.
She suggested, “Is it possible for someone to create another platform where we can inflate pool toys without fear of being penalized?
Reggie told her fans that she feared being removed from social media permanently.
‘If you don’t see me again, I’ve been banned for good’ she warned.
It comes after Reggie revealed she is struggling to find a permanent place to live.
She disclosed her exercise schedule to her 56,000 fans, simultaneously discussing the challenges she faces when trying to secure long-term housing. (11 words)
In the video, you could see the previous proprietor of a fish and chip shop breaking a sweat on an elliptical trainer, followed by putting in some effort on a leg press to tone her legs.
Following her exercise session, Reggie mentioned that she went to the gym to alleviate stress since she’s currently searching for a long-term residence not just for herself, but also for her children Mia, aged 14, and Lucas, 13, who suffers from cystic fibrosis.
‘Just need to get rid of some stress,’ she said in the video.
‘Still trying to find somewhere to live for me and the kids. Hopefully we find something soon.

Despite the admission, Reggie appeared in good spirits, smiling as she left the gym.
Nevertheless, she could have jeopardized all her hard-earned progress following her exercise routine, by deciding to drop by KFC on her way home instead.
She said, after finishing a workout at the gym, she stopped by here, somewhat mischievously, while waiting inside the store for her order.
Reggie wrote her name into the record books by becoming the first person to claim victory on Big Brother not once but twice, with her initial triumph occurring in 2003, followed by another win in 2022.
Regardless of earning a quarter-million dollars from Big Brother competitions in both 2003 and 2022, the television figure has faced financial hardships throughout their career.
The bird has become completely or nearly sightless following its diagnosis with Retinitis Pigmentosa, an uncommon condition affecting the eyes which progressively deteriorates vision.
She also has Usher syndrome, a rare genetic disease that affects both hearing and vision.
Previously, she responded to those who questioned her recent health issues during an interview on TV Week.
She informed the publication, “Many are commenting, ‘She must be pretending.’ But who would pretend to be blind?
Previously managing a fish-and-chip store, this individual – experiencing vision as if peering through straws – commented: “They’re unaware of who I am, nor the daily struggles I face.
‘I think people who leave comments like that have issues.’
After triumphing in the 2022 celebrity version of the show, Reggie announced that the winnings would be used for rent payments, thereby securing a stable home for herself and her kids.
As a dedicated admirer, I can’t help but share how Reggie’s victories have been a godsend for him personally. You see, he’s been battling a unique affliction known as retinitis pigmentosa, a rare degenerative eye disease that has left him legally blind. This condition has caused him severe visual impairment, but thankfully, his winnings have been instrumental in covering the associated medical expenses.
