Big Brother Drama: Trisha Ignored Jojo
During a live broadcast on Monday, it was suggested that TV personality Trisha Goddard failed to acknowledge or give due attention to American child star JoJo Siwa upon her entry into the Celebrity Big Brother house.
67-year-old TV host, battling terminal stage four breast cancer, became the third resident of the lavish dwelling, following Chesney Hawkes, 53, and 21-year-old Jojo who were previously presented to ITV audiences.
However, upon entering her home, some viewers of the series have alleged that Trisha was hastily seeking out Chesney, thus potentially leaving Jojo in an awkward position as the third party involved.
In their conversation about sharing a common past, working at the same pub during their childhood, and hailing from the same neighborhood, some viewers have commented that the star seems to be overlooking the singer known as Karma.
A user on what was once called X (Twitter) wrote: ‘Trisha is reminding everyone she encounters, while Jojo remains standing still.’
JoJo, within the initial five seconds of Trisha entering the house, found herself listening to her personal life narrative shared with Chesney.

‘Jojo third wheelin’ Ches & Trish’
Initially, when Trisha appeared before the crowd, hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best, she shared the reasons behind her decision to agree to participate in the show.
She mentioned that she’s been requested to do it annually, and her response has often been something like, “Can you believe it?” or “Is this a joke?”.
Participating in Big Brother offers an opportunity to demonstrate that one can thrive with cancer, not allowing the fear of death to overshadow the joy of life. That’s why I am taking part in this show.
The beloved figure on ITV, known for hosting the widely-watched daytime talk show Trisha between 1998 and 2004, revealed last February that the cancer she fought and overcame back in 2008 had unfortunately resurfaced.
In a heart-wrenching disclosure, the mother of Billie and Madison, who moved to the U.S. in 2010, shared that her cancer persists and hiding it has grown increasingly difficult.
As I stood there, I felt a sense of unease, knowing that it was time to share the return of the cancer battle. Yet, I recognized the importance of disclosing this information, understanding that it was necessary for my loved ones and friends to be informed about what lies ahead. Twenty months ago, I received the heart-wrenching terminal diagnosis, a reality that has shaped my life ever since.

She has a form of breast cancer that originally developed in her breast, but later spread to other areas of her body. Unfortunately, while treatments are available, it currently cannot be cured.
She remarked, “You discuss your health with others, and it seems you’re dealing with stage four metastatic cancer. However, ‘stage four’ can mean different things to different people.
Even though you only have a small number of affected cells, your condition is still classified as stage four. Unfortunately, this means the cancer could potentially be present in various parts of your body, such as your brain or heart. Here’s hoping it won’t spread to those locations.
As an ardent admirer, let me share a fascinating perspective: Often when folks hear ‘metastatic’, they fail to consider the remarkable individuals like those under the care of my esteemed oncologist, who’ve been thriving for two decades despite their metastatic breast cancer diagnosis. This is truly monumental!
However, when people hear ‘metastatic’, they often interpret it as a death sentence. Yet, in the medical field, it’s more accurately described as ‘life-limiting’, indicating that while it significantly impacts one’s lifespan, it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s fatal.

‘You’re written off and there’s just pity towards you.
For those experiencing it, as the Princess of Wales aptly put it, you’re navigating through a time of doubt, yet what you receive is sympathy rather than understanding.
Many individuals across various professions, while battling cancer, choose to keep their condition private.
‘The other day, someone shared with me that they were going to receive their treatment plan. They seemed uneasy and mentioned in a hushed tone, “I must keep this secret as I could lose my job if anyone finds out.” Such secrecy surrounding health matters is utterly unjust.’
