As a devoted fan, I must share that recently, Justin Bieber has seemed to be going through some tough times. On Thursday, he posted a heartfelt and troubling confession that expressed feelings of self-dislike.

In his Instagram post, he expressed that throughout his life, people have often said to him, “Justin, you really deserve that!” However, he has always struggled with feelings of inadequacy and self-doubt. He mentioned that he often felt like a fraud, as if others would judge him harshly if they knew the true nature of his thoughts – ones filled with judgment and selfishness. Despite this, he believes many people share these feelings of unworthiness and impostor syndrome. In conclusion, he wanted to acknowledge those who feel the same way, acknowledging that most days, he too feels underqualified and unworthy.

It makes you wonder if Bieber, 31, knows how much people are rooting for him.

If he reflects on it and considers the general reaction from people everywhere when they see that old video featuring the 15-year-old Bieber, a boy who was once a small-town Canadian kid catapulted into stardom alongside Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, the only question that comes to mind for many is: Who was watching over this youngster?

In this video, recorded back in 2009, Justin Bieber appears to be considerably younger than his actual age. There’s an innocent, almost juvenile vibe about him, which could be due to, or perhaps accentuated by, the rapid rise of his fame.

Diddy, then around 40 years old, brags about spending an entire weekend with Bieber.

In my own words, I’d say: “I can’t reveal the details of where I’m spending time and what activities we’re engaged in, but let me tell you, it’s an extraordinary experience that any 15-year-old would dream of. Incidentally, I have been entrusted with his care.

This is the stuff Diddy admitted to in public, on camera.

Diddy continues by discussing his role as a mentor towards Usher, taking on a sort of protective role during Usher’s debut album, which was granted through legal guardianship.

At that time, Usher was just thirteen years old and moved to reside with Diddy in New York City. Similar to Bieber, he was the sole child of a mother facing financial difficulties and an absent father.

Essentially, these boys were notably susceptible, having mothers who seemed eager to boost their sons’ careers, wealth, and status – regardless of the potential risk, such as leaving them unsupervised around Diddy, who carried a past filled with criminal activities.

2016 saw Usher, now a parent, sharing surprise during an interview with Howard Stern about some aspects of his past that his mother permitted.

‘Hell no,’ he said when asked if he would ever send his children to live with Diddy.

In response, Usher expressed, “I had an opportunity to witness certain sights, but I’m not sure I fully grasped or appreciated what I was observing. It was quite extraordinary.

In 2004, he was more precise when speaking with Rolling Stone. At that time, Usher mentioned that Diddy introduced him to a completely new sphere of experiences, primarily focusing on sexual encounters. He described the entertainment industry as intensely sexual and stated that there were always women present. Opening a door could lead to witnessing someone engaged in sexual activity, or multiple people participating in an orgy. The environment was unpredictable.

It’s likely that many people support Justin Bieber, and few would advocate for his “cancellation.” Given the circumstances of his past under the care of someone like Diddy, it seems unfair to hold him accountable for anything he might have experienced.

Although Bieber’s legal team asserts that his recent issues bear no connection to Diddy’s arrest in September 2024, it’s worth noting that their circumstances seem to run concurrently.

It’s not pleasant for anyone to witness Justin Bieber going through a downward spiral. We don’t wish for him to endure a string of public breakdowns similar to Britney Spears’, where he seems frail, unwell, underdressed and seemingly reliant on drugs, as suggested by the photos he shared recently featuring what appeared to be marijuana use.

Justin Bieber is currently married with a 6-month-old son, which should be the happiest period in his life. However, as a friend recently explained to me, individuals who have experienced trauma – and child stardom falls under that category – may find themselves re-traumatized when they become parents.

Having a baby suddenly makes a harsh truth all too clear: Why wasn’t anyone around to protect me?

At various times, Justin Bieber has expressed feelings of being detached from both his mother, who wrote a book titled ‘Nowhere But Up: The Story of Justin Bieber’s Mom,’ and his father, who made boasts about Justin’s private parts after some nude photos of Justin were shared online.

‘My boy,’ he tweeted, adding a none-too-subtle cactus emoji.

Wolves would have done a better job, I think.

A different way of expressing the sentence could be: The father in question has faced significant criticism for his ongoing management of an Instagram page featuring pictures of his 6-year-old daughter, who happens to be Justin Bieber’s half-sister.

It seems that Justin Bieber has experienced feelings of deception or disappointment from almost every significant adult figure in his life. This includes his parents, previous management team, and a key influencer, Sean Combs, who played a crucial role in propelling him to worldwide fame at a cost that appears hard to quantify.

Following Combs’ arrest last year, a source revealed to Us Weekly that Bieber was extremely repulsed by the allegations against Combs and was counseled to keep his distance from any matters relating to it.
