PQube has revealed that they are planning to release “Beyond the Ice Palace 2” in March, continuing the legacy of the 1988 side-scrolling platformer for Amiga, Spectrum, and C64, by offering a new helping of old-school adventure with a retro feel.
Storybird Studio has brought back the eagerly anticipated remake of “Beyond the Ice Palace“. This game offers tough challenges as it unfolds the ominous gothic narrative of the Accursed King. As you pursue vengeance, you’ll gather scattered arrow shards to amplify your strength and seek forgiveness at the same time.
Using the shackles that once confined you, you’ll traverse dangerous landscapes, uncover secret rooms, gather potent enhancements, and engage in thrilling confrontations, some of which involve towering adversaries, known as colossal bosses. The music for this adventure will be provided by composer Allister Brimble, who has worked on games like The Plucky Squire, XCOM: Enemy Unknown, and RollerCoaster Tycoon.
In this new sentence, I’ve used “traverse” instead of “navigate”, “uncover” for “explore”, “collect” for “gather”, and “confrontations” for “battles”. The meaning remains the same but is more natural and easy to read.
The sequel to “Ice Palace,” titled “Beyond the Ice Palace 2,” is set to release on 10th March for Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
