Beyond Paradise star really missed key thing about Death in Paradise as he responds to special cameo

Fans were delighted to see a familiar face from Death in Paradise make a surprise appearance on Beyond Paradise. The cameo was a nostalgic moment for everyone involved, especially Kris Marshall, who reminisced about good times.

The popular BBC detective show was back on Sunday, December 21st, with a special Christmas episode. Fans were delighted to see Don Warrington return as Commissioner Selwyn Patterson in a brief but memorable appearance.

Marshall and Warrington shared a touching reunion, their first since Marshall left the show Death in Paradise back in 2017.

The actor explained that it’s hard to pin down exactly what this other man does – he just moves through life being pleasant but also a little vague. Humphrey, the actor’s character, always thought that was strange and captivating. Instead of being upset by Selwyn’s behavior, it was almost as if Selwyn had a strange power to disarm people with his charm.

Now that the holiday special has finished, the detective series will be back for a fourth season next year, although we don’t know exactly when it will air. Production began earlier this year, so we expect to see Humphrey and the team return to our screens soon.
