Beyond Galaxyland Brings Pixel Art Turn-Based RPG Adventure to Xbox in September

Oh, boy! As a child of the ’80s and avid fan of retro gaming, I can hardly contain my excitement for Beyond Galaxyland! The blend of 2.5D pixel art, sci-fi vibes, and turn-based combat harks back to the golden age of RPGs that captivated me during my formative years.

According to the recent announcement by United Label, the immersive 2.5D pixel art role-playing game titled “Beyond Galaxyland,” developed and scored by the talented artist and music producer Sam ‘EnrightBeats’ Enright from Chicago, is set to launch in September.

Reminiscent of 1980s sci-fi films and ’90s role-playing games, Beyond Galaxyland chronicles the adventures of Doug, a typical high school student, who unexpectedly lands in Galaxyland – an apparently peaceful collection of planets resembling a zoo – just as Earth is about to be obliterated by a cosmic annihilator known as ‘The End’.

In your role as Doug, you’ll travel to various planets, gathering an eclectic group of allies for your mission, all while unraveling the secrets of Galaxyland and preventing the Earth apocalypse. Can you prevent ‘The End’? You’ll have to solve puzzles, navigate platforms, and battle bosses in turn-based combat if you want to succeed.

Beyond Galaxyland promises an exciting adventure with 25 challenging boss fights, multiple planets to delve into, and peculiar creatures to collect for unique skills. It seems set to deliver enjoyable gameplay when it drops on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on the 24th of September.
