People are speculating about a possible new relationship for Daniel Smith Jr., also known as Julez, after recent sightings sparked rumors of a romance with someone much older than him. He is the son of Beyoncé’s sister, Solange Knowles.
Rumors started swirling after 21-year-old Smith was spotted looking affectionate with Tommie Lee, a 41-year-old reality TV star from Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, in videos she shared on Snapchat early Monday morning. The age difference – two decades – quickly became a topic of discussion.
In a video clip, Atasha Jefferson, known as Lee, is seen laughing heartily while Smith gives her a piggyback ride.
‘Type of s*** you do when you like somebody,’ Smith said with mock weariness as he carried Lee.
She seemingly returned the affection by replying after a delay, ‘My baby. So fine.’
The Daily Mail has reached out to representatives for Smith and Lee to request comment.
Smith continued to jokingly act exhausted, explaining that it’s difficult to feel okay when you’re burdened with someone else’s weight or responsibilities.
‘Still fine!’ Lee chuckled while wrapping her arms around his torso tightly.
Later that night, Lee was able to walk by herself again, but she continued to lean on Smith for support as they walked.
She couldn’t stop laughing as she talked about their fun night out, which seemed to have included a visit to a club.
Earlier that night, Lee posted a video of her meal, and the entertainment included a woman performing contortionism.
In one of the videos, Smith could be heard jokingly asking, ‘You can do that?’
She captioned the video ‘Sure can and better’ with laughing emojis in response.
Lee also shared several videos from the evening that didn’t appear to feature Smith.
Born in October 2024, Smith is the son of Solange Knowles, age 39, and her former husband, Daniel Smith. The couple were married from 2004 to 2007.
The popular model recently shared a look at his personal life to set the record straight about how he grew up.
When asked about the challenges of having a famous parent, he told People magazine that dealing with other people’s false assumptions was the hardest part.
He felt frustrated that people with no knowledge of his life were freely offering opinions about it, even going all the way back to his childhood.
I first saw myself in the media when I was in seventh grade. My mom had posted a picture of me dressed up as LL Cool J – I was wearing a red jumpsuit and was about 13 years old. It was funny because I actually had a girlfriend at the time, and she was the one who showed me the picture my mom had posted when I got to school.
He explained that adults were using homophobic slurs against him online when he was only 13 years old.
Lee is well-known from her appearances on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, but she’s also gained attention for frequent legal troubles.
She’s talked before about starting labor while incarcerated, but thankfully she was transported to a hospital before her daughter was born.
Lee is a mother of six children, but she currently cares for only her two daughters, Havalli and Samaria. She has faced challenges with addiction in the past.
