Beyonce shares video and behind-the-scenes snaps from Kamala Harris rally in Houston

From behind-the-scenes images of her rallying support for Colin Allred in Texas to heartwarming moments with her fellow powerhouses, Tina Knowles and Kelly Rowland, it’s clear that this event was more than just a concert – it was a call to action.
On Friday, Beyoncé passionately advocated for Kamala Harris’s presidency during a rally in Houston, Texas – the singer’s birthplace.
And on Saturday, the Freedom singer, 43, shared memories from the event to her Instagram.
The post included videos and photos from the evening which she captioned ‘Time to sing a new song.’
The carousel of behind-the-scenes images included a shot backstage with the Vice President and a snap of them hugging on stage with a backdrop reading ‘Vote for Reproductive Freedom.’
Apart from that, she additionally posted pictures involving her fellow Destiny’s Child member Kelly Rowland, her mom Tina Knowles, as well as Collin Allred – a candidate vying for the U.S. Senate seat in Texas, aiming to replace Ted Cruz in office.
‘I’m not here as a celebrity. I’m not here as a politician,’ Beyoncé said.

The mother of three continued: ‘Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what’s possible with no ceilings, no limitations. It’s time for America to sing a new song.
‘Let’s do this. Ladies and gentlemen, give a big, loud Texas welcome to the next president of the United States, vice president Kamala Harris,’ Beyoncé excitedly said as the crowd roared their support.
The Single Ladies singer did not perform at the event, reportedly upsetting some fans.
Yet, remarkably, the responses to her post show a contrasting image filled with affection, encouragement, and appreciation instead.
Over 30,000 individuals crowded the venue itself, and around 10,000 others assembled outside. Simultaneously, approximately 2.5 million viewers tuned in to watch the event via live stream.
Kelly Rowland, standing beside Beyoncé, provided her own endorsement of Harris while Beyoncé was delivering a speech on the stage.
‘We are writing a new American story … of kindness and hope,’ she said.
Afterward, she posted a picture taken that special night featuring her alongside Beyoncé, Tina Knowles, and Collin Allred.
