Beyoncé planning shock political U-turn after letting Kamala Harris use her song

According to sources near her, Beyoncé is planning a change in direction following years of political reserve, as she has decided to publicly support Kamala Harris for the presidency.
The multiple Grammy-winning artist, aged 42, has granted the vice president permission to utilize her songs during her presidential campaign and is planning to take additional steps by donating funds and expressing support for Harris. She feels that the situation is so critical (“the stakes are too high”) that it’s important not to stay neutral.
It’s been reported by an inside source that Beyoncé has made plans to show up at a Kamala Harris charity event.
The singer intentionally distanced herself from political involvement following her participation in a charity event with her spouse Jay-Z, which raised funds for Barack Obama’s campaign in 2012.

In 2008, during Obama’s campaign, Beyoncé and Harris initially crossed paths. Their friendship deepened during the Joe Biden election, but they have yet to be spotted in public together since then.
On the eve of the 2020 presidential election, Beyoncé subtly expressed her backing for Biden and Harris by wearing a Biden-Harris masked selfie on Instagram.
Currently, the singer has prepared herself to formally lend her influence to Harris’ continuous presidential campaign, following Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race on July 19th.
According to the source, she finds the situation critical and strongly supports Kamala’s plan for America. Notably, the artist has also planned to contribute financially to the campaign.
She’s earmarked a sum of $4 million for charitable contributions to the campaign, and she’s prepared to add more if she deems it necessary.
Without a doubt, Beyoncé has endorsed Harris’s campaign by granting permission for her campaign trail to use her song “Freedom” as its theme tune.
The music producer, renowned for sticking to stringent copyright rules, promptly gave Harris approval to use the song, according to a confidant of the Democratic campaign; this information was shared by CNN.
It was claimed that the campaign team asked for consent just hours before Harris made her debut at her election headquarters.
The action was taken following Tina Knowles, Beyoncé’s mother, expressing her enthusiasm for a potential Harris candidacy, describing her as ‘fresh, energetic, and sharp’ on an Instagram post.
Knowles posted a picture of herself with Harris, captioned: “As you requested, and our President Biden made the right call for the nation!”

In August 2023, the Vice President and her spouse, Doug Emhoff, attended a concert held at FedEx Field in Landover, Maryland.
She marked the occasion with an Instagram that read: ‘To the one of one, the number one, the only one, Beyoncé, thank you for a fun date night.’
Up until now, Harris has garnered endorsements from several well-known figures such as Cardi B, Jamie Lee Curtis, John Legend, Cher, Barbra Streisand, Katy Perry, Spike Lee, Questlove, and Demi Lovato in the public eye.
