Beyonce battles the rain as she kicks off UK leg of Cowboy Carter tour at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium and is joined on stage by her lookalike daughters Blue Ivy, 13, and Rumi, 7
On Thursday, Beyonce braved the rain while starting the United Kingdom segment of her Cowboy Carter tour at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
43-year-old Queen Bey shared a memorable moment with her doppelgangers, Blue Ivy, aged 13, and Rumi, 7, during their legendary performance on stage together.
In a scene reminiscent of Beyoncé’s song, Protector Rumi gracefully waved to her admirers while humming along. Before the famous popstar did so, she tenderly cradled her daughter’s face.
In simpler terms, Rumi’s identical twin, who is usually kept private by Jay-Z and Beyoncé, was not a part of their recent performance.
As a die-hard fan, let me tell you, there’s no denying that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree! I was absolutely blown away when I saw Blue Ivy Carter, Beyonce’s eldest daughter, grace the stage with her own unique charm and charisma. Just like her mom, she’s got star quality written all over her, and it’s clear that she’s destined to make waves in the world of entertainment!
The 13-year-old gave it her all as she led the dancers for the track Deja-vu.

Fans of the global superstar began queuing outside the stadium at 4am on Wednesday.
With a seating capacity of 62,000, this venue will be where the singer performs during the British segment of her tour. After that, she’ll head to Paris, followed by a return to the United States.
In 2023, she last graced the stages of the UK during her Renaissance World Tour, where she delivered five shows at a single stadium.
Despite tickets for her 2023 Renaissance world tour in the UK selling out swiftly upon release, the response hasn’t been as enthusiastic this time compared to before.
There were still 539 free seats left in the stadium which holds around 62,000 people for concerts.
Today, the least expensive tickets for tonight’s event were priced at £71 for partial view seating, whereas the costliest ones went up to £278 for seats offering a more advantageous view.
Most vacant chairs were found in the restricted section, as many spectators opted against spending money for a less-than-ideal vantage point.
Although a screen displaying the stage was within reach, the performance and Beyoncé were obstructed by the intrusive sound and lighting equipment.

Her UK stint comes after ticket sales for the US part of her tour were also sluggish.
Sales of tickets might indicate a lower enthusiasm for Country-infused Cowboy Carter tunes as opposed to her Dance-oriented Renaissance songs.
The artist-composer might face challenges convincing fans who attended her frenetic Renaissance tour a couple of years ago to return, especially since the tickets for this event are now more expensive than before.
The relatively high ticket prices, ranging from $200 to $300, for certain seating options at her forthcoming Chicago concerts, might be causing some dissatisfaction among fans as well.
For several months now, Beyoncé seems to have significantly reduced ticket prices at certain concerts to encourage fans to purchase any remaining unsold ones.
Some fans who saw her in LA were able to nab tickets as cheap as $35 before Ticketmaster’s fees.
LIVE: BEYONCÉ (Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London)
Verdict: Queen Bey earns her Spurs
Last night, cowboy hats and shimmering fabrics were abundant as Beyonce’s Cowboy Carter tour made its way to London, illuminated by an array of fireworks.
Kicking off her six-night stint at the drizzly Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the illustrious Texan artist felt completely at home.
Two years ago, I curated my Renaissance tour, transforming colossal stadiums into pulsating nightclubs. Last night, I orchestrated an extraordinary metamorphosis, crafting one into the globe’s most technologically advanced rodeo, boasting a gleaming mechanical bucking bronco.
In her first UK concert since the 2024 release of her country-influenced album, Cowboy Carter, Beyoncé, aged 43, delivered a soulful performance infused with Nashville’s spirit, while also ensuring that her female audience and fans continued to dance along by singing back many of her biggest pop hits.

The evening unfolded as a skillfully orchestrated sequence of distinct performances, culminating in an additional encore, showcasing intricate staging, dazzling LED displays, and Beyoncé’s captivating, powerful vocals and stage presence taking center stage.
The program primarily focused on the Grammy-awarded album from last year, an audio production that seemed akin to a staged musical with a Western theme.
Beyonce declared that nothing, not even rain, would hinder her performance,” she said, striding onto the stage wearing cowgirl chaps and backed by a lively dance group.
As a die-hard admirer, I took on the challenge of reinterpreting two iconic tunes – The Beatles’ “Blackbird” and our national anthem, “The Star-Spangled Banner. Here’s my spin:
I transformed “Blackbird” into a soulful, folksy serenade that brought a new depth to the original melody. Then, I reimagined “The Star-Spangled Banner” as a powerful ballad, infusing it with an emotional resonance that truly stirred the heart.
Cowboy Carter’s standout moments featured a country-soul tune titled “Levii’s Jeans” (correctly spelled), a lively hoedown called “Texas Hold ‘Em” driven by the fiddle, a rendition of Dolly Parton’s “Jolene”, and a sleek country rocker song named “Bodyguard”.
I, breathlessly enthralled, belted out “16 Carriages” from my elevated vantage point, perched atop a mobile pink Cadillac floating effortlessly above the ground.
She delved into the diverse range of her ‘musical gumbo’, exploring the 2022 Renaissance LP which is a blend of disco, funk, and house, and performed a thrilling dance-pop medley of the classic songs Crazy In Love and Single Ladies that left the audience ecstatic.
Prior discussions pointed towards slow ticket sales, and it was observed that some tickets for the concert at a 62,000-seat venue were still up for grabs on the internet during the early part of the day yesterday, fueling rumors that exorbitant prices might be deterring fans from attending.

As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but notice some vacant seats during Beyoncé’s concert, yet the whispers about her magnetic allure apparently being diminished are far from the truth!
During the evening, there were breaks for video segments that allowed for wardrobe changes, which at times disrupted the flow of events.
The highly structured performance allowed minimal deviation, yet there were numerous instances where she beautifully improvised and showcased her voice with an operatic flair.
The Cowboy Carter tour has received a warm response in the singer’s native country, but wowing American fans at Chicago’s Soldier Field presents a different challenge.
On such an energized performance at Tottenham on a brisk Thursday evening in London, Beyoncé has certainly proven herself worthy of the Spurs’ spirit.
Beyonce’s London residency continues until June 16
