Bethenny Frankel slams Kamala Harris 'hobnobbing with celebrities' after Donald Trump's election victory

As someone who has witnessed the evolution of American politics over the past few decades, I must admit that this year’s presidential election has left me both bewildered and disappointed. Bethenny Frankel’s observations about the divisiveness and lack of open discourse during this campaign resonate deeply with my own experiences.

Bethenny Frankel, for the first time since Donald Trump’s election as president, has spoken out, criticizing Kamala Harris for socializing with famous personalities during her political campaign.

The defeated Democratic nominee, Harris (still to deliver a concession speech), garnered endorsements from several high-profile figures such as Jennifer Lopez, Katy Perry, Lizzo, Julia Roberts, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Harrison Ford, and Lady Gaga.

Frankel – who has not openly said who she endorsed – took to social media hours after Trump’s win to slam voters for not ‘allowing each other have an opinion’ while calling out Harris for ‘aligning with celebrities.’

She stated: “The recent election seemed extremely polarizing compared to any other in my memory. The importance of the issues at hand appeared immense for all parties involved, making it difficult for individuals to remain neutral.

Over the past period, I found myself in an unusual predicament where it seemed almost impossible to express my views, no matter which candidate I supported. Here, it felt as though opinions were being solidified into unshakable beliefs, leaving little room for criticism of either candidate’s actions, especially when those actions weren’t in line with good business ethics.

‘Or something that was in poor taste, you just couldn’t do it

She stated: “Honestly, I never believed that associating with celebrities was a wise choice. In general, I don’t believe the average American audience is overly concerned about who is socializing with celebrities. It’s like forbidden fruit – it’s tempting, it’s alluring, it’s right in front of us, it’s the glittering attraction.

‘I don’t think its a working model, I’m allowed to have that opinion.

In my view, errors seemed to be present on all sides. Yet, whenever I shared my perspective, irrespective of whom I supported, I faced criticism from both parties. Instead of engaging constructively, they appeared to argue with each other and exchange heated comments.

The Real Housewives of New York City personality encouraged her followers to acknowledge the election outcome, stating: “We reside in a democratic nation, and it’s the people who decide; the choice has been cast.

‘The country has to come together.’

Trump was endorsed by famous faces including Kid Rock, Joe Rogan and Brittany Mahomes.

On Tuesday at a campaign rally in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, it was noticeable that Harris spent time with Perry during the event.

In a boost of stardom, Harris found himself in the company of not just Perry but also Perry’s partner, Orlando Bloom, during their meeting, as documented by Perry on her TikTok platform. (126 characters)

At the get-out-the-vote event’s backstage, Harris, dressed sharply in a black suit with broad peaked lapels and a coordinating sweater, appeared utterly stunned upon spotting Perry heading towards her.

On Tuesday, a notable gathering took place showcasing prominent figures backing Harris. Performances by Perry and music sensation Lady Gaga included some of their best-known songs, as they voiced their support for the Vice President. This event happened prior to citizens casting their votes.

At a gathering close to Pittsburgh, Katy made a powerful entrance during the 2024 campaign, aiming to generate backing for Harris. Following Harris’s delivery of her campaign speech, she took over the stage and put on a performance.

The hitmaker started out by singing ‘Dark Horse’ and then declared ‘my body, my choice’ before singing Part of Me.

Four years ago, Katy became a mother to Daisy, which is why she’s supporting Kamala Harris when she votes.

Katy revealed that she’s acquainted with Harris long before she became a senator, and throughout the years, Harris has consistently advocated for those in need and championed women’s rights.

Trump has garnered a significant majority of the popular vote, accounting for approximately 51% compared to Harris’s 47.5%, based on the tallied votes from across the country up until this morning.

If that result holds, it will signify the first occasion in twenty years when a Republican candidate has secured the most votes nationwide. This was last achieved by George Bush in 2004, suggesting a level of Republican support not witnessed for many years.

However, it’s worth noting that, as of Wednesday morning at approximately 5:30 am Eastern Time, the Democratic nominee has yet to comment on the outcome of the presidential election, which was declared a win for Donald Trump by the Associated Press.

On Wednesday afternoon at approximately 4 PM Eastern Time, it has been announced by the Harris campaign that the Democratic candidate will be delivering a speech at her former university, Howard University in Washington D.C., about 12 hours following the conclusion of the election race.
