Last Friday, August 29th, the sports betting firm announced promotional content related to its growth plan in Maryland. Subsequently, the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency endorsed the granting of a betting license to bet365.
In about a week, the sportsbook from bet365 will debut in Maryland, just before the start of the NFL season kickoff. This timing is considered optimal for sports betting in America as it’s generally regarded as the peak period. The launch seems well-prepared and executed, providing more choices for Maryland residents who enjoy sports betting during the NFL season.
365bet has been gradually increasing its influence in the U.S., making strides bit by bit. In the previous year, it marked an unprecedented milestone as a foreign sports betting firm by joining the Sports Betting Alliance (SBA). This alliance is made up of legal operators and consists of BetMGM, FanDuel, DraftKings, and Fanatics Sportsbook.
Beyond Maryland and Kansas, the company offers its services in Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, and Virginia. Additionally, bet365 is set to expand into Missouri for its 16th U.S operation, scheduled for December this year.
