Besties Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and Pip Edwards Dress to Match in Designer Dresses at Book Launch

On Wednesday evening, channeling my inner catwalk queen, I found myself stepping out alongside my dearest Jackie ‘O’ Henderson and Pip Edwards. We were both donning stunning designer dresses that had graced the Australian Fashion Week runway, making an appearance at a book launch in Potts Point. It was a thrill to wear such exquisite attire inspired by the world of high fashion!

For her recent outing, the well-known radio personality from Sydney, who’s 50, donned a unique and exclusive $3200 gown designed by local fashion guru, Amber Symond, known for her work in Sydney.

This long-length gown, dubbed as the “Portrait of a Man” dress, showcases authentic artwork by Tamara de Lempicka – an influential artist from the 1920s who was celebrated for her unique Art Deco design aesthetic.

In 2023, model and actor Charlee Fraser donned a stunning strapless dress crafted from virgin wool mohair from Italy, the very same outfit she wore at her memorable Fashion Week debut that year.

In a similar style, Pip, the 44-year-old co-founder of P.E Nation, decided to mimic Jackie’s look wearing the strapless “Volant mini” priced at $359 from the Australian brand L’idee.

As I stood there, starstruck, it felt like I was witnessing two long-lost sisters reunited! Pip and Jackie, both impeccably dressed, gracefully posed for a mirror selfie at the base of the Ksubi creative director’s grand staircase. Their striking resemblance took my breath away!

I, a devoted admirer of interior design, was fortunate enough to join my blonde companions for the grand unveiling of Steve Cordnoy’s new book at the luxurious MCM House in the vibrant district of Paddington.

Pip pulled her golden hair back into her distinctive bun, accessorizing the style with striking gold chain high-heels and a touch of delicate gold jewelry.

Jackie let her brightened golden hair cascade freely down her shoulders, and she accessorized with a set of large gold hoop earrings.

She enthusiastically praised Steve, remarking not just his exceptional talent, but also his exceptionally compassionate nature, as she joyously commemorated the pop-up shop for her friend’s newly published book.

At a grand opening ceremony, many prominent figures from Sydney’s social scene and trendsetters graced the occasion. Notably, Pip and Jackie stood out in their identical, strapless gowns as they guided the dining attendees.

On another occasion, this stylish pair has shown off their sun-kissed, petite physiques in coordinating outfits again.

Instead of emphasizing their resemblance this week by wearing only black or white outfits, the fashionable pair chose to coordinate more subtly by both donning strapless attire.

After becoming friends with Jackie O, she has solidified her reputation as a stylish woman of Sydney’s fashion scene by frequently wearing expensive designer clothing.

The fashion designer appeared to be thoroughly enjoying herself while chatting with Steve and his select company.

The online description for her dress emphasizes its figure-hugging silhouette, which gracefully highlights one’s shape, while maintaining an air of casual sophistication. Notably, the hemline features ruffles that honor the classic elements reminiscent of the ’80s fashion era.

While Jackie wears clothing from Common Hours, a popular Australian brand recognized for its thematic investigations and partnerships with artists, writers, and musicians.

In the past two years, Pip and Jackie, who more recently found themselves in a romantic relationship with Joshua Clapp, have grown particularly close and can frequently be spotted enjoying each other’s company.

Lately, Pip disclosed that she remained supportive of Jackie following her confession about struggling with substance abuse issues related to drugs and alcohol.

Regarding Jackie’s courage in sharing her experiences in her memoir The Whole Truth, Pip expressed being moved by Jackie’s honesty.
