Start with a 4-4 lineup of Darkrai EX and at least 3 copies of each of its attackers (such as Hydreigon or Yveltal). Include 4 copies of Spirit Link to power up your Pokemon. All Pokémon cards in the deck

Initially, let’s delve into the role of Darkrai EX in this deck, as he serves as the main card. Although Darkrai only deals 80 damage with his move, it’s his ability that truly amplifies his power. Darkrai’s Nightmare Aura allows you to inflict 20 damage onto your opponent’s Active Pokemon each time a Dark Energy is attached to one of your Pokemons.

In addition, we added Croagunk and Toxicroak to our team. Notably, Toxicroak packs a powerful punch due to its move, Group Beatdown, which allows players to inflict 40 damage on their opponent’s active Pokémon for each Pokémon the opponent has in play.

In our assembled deck, we added Murkrow and Hunchkrow as the concluding Pokemon. What makes Hunchkrow noteworthy is that it can attack with just two Dark Energies, dealing 50 damage to a randomly selected Pokemon on your opponent’s field. This feature allows you to eliminate Benched Pokemon before they even get a chance to take the Active spot.

All Trainer cards in the deck

In our deck construction, Trainer cards play an equally vital role as the Pokémon themselves. That’s why we’ve incorporated ten top-notch Trainer cards that align perfectly with this particular build.

Initially, we added Dawn to the mix. This card’s ability allows players to attach an additional Energy token onto one of their Pokemon. Additionally, Team Galactic Grunt is a crucial Trainer card for this deck, enabling players to retrieve a Croagunk from their deck and place it in their hand.

As a gamer, I can say that the Giant Cape is the one and only Tool Trainer card we added, enhancing the HP of the Pokémon it’s equipped to by a mighty 20 points. On the other hand, the Poké Ball is an absolute must-have, providing a handy way to grab those initial Pokémon and get them into my lineup.

Lastly, we added the Professor’s Research to this card. Since the app launched, this card has consistently stood out as one of the top Supporter Trainer cards in the game, a fact that has been demonstrated repeatedly over time.

Weak against

This deck is vulnerable to Pokémon of the Grass type. Thus, in a battle, decks like Torterra or Venasaur will hold an edge. Therefore, keep that in mind when facing off against these grassy creatures.

Strong against

If you’re facing a deck with Psychic Pokemon, here’s some good news: Dark-type Pokemon are powerful against them. So, even if you’ve heard tales of Mewtwo, don’t worry – your deck is equipped to send those Psychic Pokemon straight to the discard pile.
