Best Bait Decks in Clash Royale

As a Clash Royale player, I’ve learned that “bait decks” are all about tricking your opponent. The idea is to get them to use their important spells – things like The Log, Arrows, or Zap – on less important troops. That way, when I play my big, powerful cards, they won’t have a spell ready to take them out!

Using a ‘bait’ strategy can feel a little tricky, but these types of decks are currently very popular and successful because they’re great at destroying enemy towers and securing wins.

So, bait decks work because they’re all about reading your opponent and keeping the pressure on. I don’t go for big, flashy pushes like some players – instead, I use cards like Goblin Barrel and Princess to constantly poke at their towers. It’s not about winning quickly, it’s about making them react to everything I do, hoping they slip up eventually. I’m basically trying to wear them down with constant little threats!

How to Play Bait Decks in Clash Royale

As we discussed before, a ‘bait’ strategy in Clash Royale focuses on making your opponent use their strongest card to defend against weaker threats. This lets your other cards attack without being easily countered. You do this by quickly playing several ‘bait’ cards – things like Goblin Barrel, Princess, or Goblin Gang – to draw out that key defense.

The main strategy is to consistently pressure your opponent. Rather than trying to destroy towers with one big attack, a ‘bait’ deck focuses on slowly damaging them while also playing strong defense.

It’s smart to figure out which of your opponent’s cards could cause you trouble. Once you know that card, try to anticipate when they’ll play it and lure it out using one of your own cards. Then, you can follow up with a card they can’t defend against. You’ll know you’ve successfully baited them when your troops can attack their tower without them being able to react.

When playing a bait deck, staying patient is key. Remember, the goal isn’t to win with brute force, but to outsmart your opponent. Play cards quickly to find what you need, carefully protect yourself, and immediately take advantage of any errors they make. Slowly but surely, this consistent damage will wear them down and lead to victory.
