Bernie Sanders surprises Coachella, warns fans against ignoring Trump: ‘Turn away at your own peril’
So far, the most impactful surprise performance at Coachella has been an unscheduled appearance by Senator Bernie Sanders.
Following an energetic rally at Gloria Molina Grand Park in downtown L.A., which attracted tens of thousands, Sanders (accompanied by congressman Maxwell Frost, a representative of his vision for the future) took to the stage just before Clairo’s performance at 8:15 p.m. in her Outdoor Theater set.
In simpler terms, Senator Sanders stated that the nation is grappling with tough issues. The path America takes next relies heavily on this current generation. If you choose to be indifferent or neglect these matters, you do so at your own risk.

Music
Today marks the continuation of the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio, California. Artists gracing the stage today are Clairo, T-Pain, Charli XCX, among others.
In simpler terms, Sanders encouraged the youth attending Coachella not to succumb to despair due to the current Trump administration, but rather to keep up the struggle for environmental protection, women’s rights, and peace in Gaza.
The crowd enthusiastically jeered upon hearing President Trump’s name, to which Sanders replied affirmatively.

As a movie buff, I firmly believe that the concept of climate change is not a hoax, but a pressing reality we must address urgently. Ignoring this fact is not only misguided, but it puts our very existence at risk. It’s time for us to take action against the fossil fuel industry. Together, let’s raise our voices and demand they halt their destructive practices on our precious planet.
Acknowledging the pressing situation facing Clairo’s supporters, he emphasized that “in various regions, policymakers are attempting to strip women of their right to make decisions about their own bodies.” He went on to encourage them, saying, “It’s crucial that you take a stand and advocate for women’s rights.
Then he played his equivalent of his greatest hits — railing against billionaires like Elon Musk.
“Our current economic structure is thriving primarily for the wealthy elite, leaving working-class families behind. Our healthcare system is deeply flawed. It’s essential to recognize that access to healthcare is a fundamental human entitlement.
Later, he introduced Clairo, a person whom Sanders noted as “utilizing her influence to advocate for women’s rights and endeavor to put an end to the heartrending and barbarous conflict in Gaza.
It’s likely that many attendees at Coachella went to get away from the gloominess of current politics. Yet, politics has a way of tagging along, and Sanders managed to bring a sense of optimism to his supporters.
