As a seasoned gamer of both virtual realms and reality TV shows, I must say that the upcoming crossover between Law & Order and SVU has me more thrilled than any level-up in my favorite MMORPGs. It’s been a while since we had a good Benson-Price showdown, and I can hardly contain my excitement!

As a gamer, I’ve been anticipating that Olivia Benson would make an appearance in an episode of Law & Order, and lo and behold, it’s actually happening! Get ready for her to shake things up in the prosecution during Law & Order season 24, episode 2.

It’s uncommon for an SVU collaboration with the parent show to occur, as we usually witness crossover scenes between SVU and Organized Crime. But it’s about time for a change, and Benson is ready to bring something fresh and exciting!

When the accused is the victim in Law & Order season 24, episode 2

Initially, the case appeared routine, but the death of a person known for creating an AI dating app added intrigue. Riley and Shaw delved into the investigation, which ultimately implicated Price and Maroun at trial. One might wonder who would want to harm someone so consumed by love. However, it was discovered that potential suspects could be those who had used the dating app.

Unexpectedly, Benson shows up at the trial as a defense witness. In this particular case, the accused isn’t simply an offender; she was also a victim. The objective is to establish that the murder was committed in self-defense.

Benson explains that the defendant was being pursued by the person who later turned out to be the victim of a homicide. While this doesn’t automatically make the murder acceptable, if the defendant subsequently reacted in self-defense by attacking her, it could potentially be justified. This would essentially be an act of self-protection and might be considered reasonable under certain circumstances.

Benson won’t ignore this matter, and neither will Price. I can’t wait to witness their confrontation.
