Benny Blanco Tears Up Over Selena Gomez’s Disney Days Throwback
Benny Blanco shared that he became emotional after re-watching an old clip featuring his fiancée, Selena Gomez, from her days as a child star on the Disney Channel.
32-year-old Emilia Pérez shared a heartfelt flashback video from her last day on the set of her popular show, “The Wizards of Waverly Place,” expressing her emotions.
From 2007 to 2012, the well-liked series aired, and a clip showed Selena becoming emotional while expressing gratitude to her fellow actors and crew members.
Standing alongside her on-screen siblings, David Henrie and Jake T. Austin, the 19-year-old expressed her gratitude in an emotional speech: “I want to thank each and every one of you in this room for everything you do for me.
Since I was raised far from my family, having moved out of Texas, it’s been you who’ve shaped and molded me in numerous ways, pushing me to grow and develop as an individual.
She carried on, her eyes welling up: “Now, thanks to each of you, I possess this launchpad, which opens up so many marvelous possibilities for me…

I appreciate the role you’ve played in my maturation, witnessing my growth along the way. I sincerely hope to continue making you proud as I move forward in life.
‘So that you for being a part of my life and the beginning of something I hope lasts a long time.’
In another comment, he mentioned: ‘It’s been going on for quite some time now and there’s no sign of it ending any time soon, sweetheart.’
Reflecting on that moment, I can still vividly recall it as though it were just yesterday – the same thought shared by my esteemed co-star, David.
We’d finished filming the last scenes of the series, and as a special farewell gesture, they presented us with our wands enclosed in a display case – an unforgettable moment that we’ll always cherish.
Following the release of their initial collaborative album “I Said I Love You First,” Selena and Benny amped up the intimacy, granting fans a unique peek into their relationship, encompassing its romantic aspects, whether it flourished within or beyond the confines of their bedroom.
In this reimagined version, a 14-song collection showcases the ardor of the lead actor from Only Murders in the Building and the successful record producer (37 years old). The passion is intensified from the get-go with “Cowboy,” an alluring tune that narrates their passionate love story.

In a sultry tone, Gomez sings, ‘I want you to behave as if the wicked girls made you kneel, kiss me as though we’re destined for one another,’ then leans closer to murmur, ‘Touch me, handle me as a skilled cowboy would a steed.’
On Bluest Flame, she maintains a rhythm of passionate vitality, hinting playfully, “I’d love to dance all night, I’m yearning for the wild and intense.
Moreover, the steaminess doesn’t end there on Sunset Boulevard. Playfully, Gomez teases Blanco in song, expressing a desire to embrace their ‘large, large, firm…’ heart.
However, the album isn’t just about personal confessions from the bedroom. On the track “Ojos Tristes,” Gomez adopts a more introspective tone, singing a partly Spanish ballad that reminisces about holding an old flame ‘one last time.’
In a little over 35 minutes, the song “I Said I Love You First” features notable collaborations. Gracie Abrams contributes her voice to “Call Me When You Break Up”, while Tainy and J Balvin contribute to “I Can’t Get Enough”.
In the same release, you’ll find Maria Zardoya, who graciously shared her exceptional vocal skills for the song Ojos Tristes. Additionally, Finneas and Charli XCX played significant roles by contributing their songwriting abilities.
Sharing the news on social platforms, Selena posted: “My collaboration with @itsbennyblanco, titled ‘I Said I Love You First’, is now available for everyone to listen!
Dear Benny, I appreciate immensely that you’ve been like a personal diary for me during this journey. These tunes symbolize our history, the here and now, as well as what lies ahead – a chapter I eagerly look forward to sharing with you, not just for today and tomorrow, but for all eternity.

‘Thank you for pouring your unconditional love into creating this project with me.
To each artist who worked on the album with me: @gracieabrams, @themarias, @finneas, @charlixcx and countless others, a heartfelt thank you for assisting me in translating my deepest, most authentic self into art. I am eternally grateful for your faith in us as we created something truly unique together.
Lastly, let me express my heartfelt gratitude to my fantastic fans who’ve shared my journey and supported me throughout all the phases of this tale.
I really hope these tunes resonate with you as deeply as they do with me, offering support on your path. It’s a genuine pleasure to have you in my journey; your presence makes a significant difference in my world.
Back in mid-December 2024, right before the holiday season, the joyful pair made their engagement public.
