Ben Foster’s Jaw-Dropping Divorce Payout: How He Outearns Laura Prepon 3-to-1

The details regarding the divorce between actors Laura Prepon and Ben Foster have been officially settled, and their agreement highlights a significant difference in their respective financial standings.

Based on divorce agreement papers, it’s stated that Foster, aged 44, earns over three times the monthly income of the ex-Orange is The New Black star.

45-year-old Prepon makes approximately $22,205.50 each month, whereas Foster receives a notable income of around $70,509.92 monthly, as reported by In Touch.

New developments have emerged concerning the separation between Prepon and Foster, following their divorce completed on April 14th. Last month, tensions escalated as she alleged in a strongly-worded submission that he had a persistent drinking problem.

In their divorce proceedings, it was said that they adhered to the terms of the pre-marital contract they’d kept on record when deciding on their final settlement.

Due to Foster earning a significantly larger salary, he is obligated to make regular monthly child support payments to his ex.

It’s said that he consented to offer her a monthly sum of $5,500 for the purpose of managing expenses related to their seven-year-old daughter Ella and their unnamed infant son, who was born in 2020.

Despite the divorce agreement indicating a greater time allocation for Prepon with the kids, Foster will continue to jointly hold custody along with her.

It appears that her house is expected to be the main place where the kids reside most of the time, and they’ll be with her approximately 227 days annually, whereas Foster will get them for about 138 days, which averages out to more than two-and-a-half days each week.

The agreement stipulates that the parents will share the responsibility for paying Ella and her brother’s tuition fees, as well as other educational expenses.

Instead, they came to an agreement that Foster wouldn’t provide alimony, and they relinquished any claims for spousal maintenance.

As a devoted follower, I’m pleased to share that Prepon and Foster will retain all their belongings, such as bank accounts, stock portfolios, various investments, and digital assets like cryptocurrency, which are already under their names.

As a devoted adherent, I understand that our ventures shall remain distinct entities, with my ongoing involvement in the thriving realm of Perfect Bananafish, while she continues to nurture and grow her Laura P. Enterprises independently.

Additionally, the former partners consented to put their house in Nashville up for sale and distribute the earnings, with Prepon getting preferential conditions.

According to reports, she’s expected to receive the initial $977,987 from the profits, while the rest of the earnings will be equally divided between her and Foster.

They too share ownership of a company named Infinity Rose, LLC, and it’s said that they plan to liquidate this company and divide its holdings or earnings between them.

In terms of their cars, Prepon is holding onto her 2023 Land Rover Discovery Sport, whereas Foster continues to manage a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 and a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado.

Foster previously filed to divorce Prepon in September 2024, citing irreconcilable differences.

For the past six years, the couple has been married, tracing back to their wedding in 2018. Prior to this, Foster was in a relationship with Robin Wright, but he later started seeing Prepon.

In early 2012, he started dating the actress who portrayed Forrest Gump, who is fifteen years older than him. They became engaged in 2014, but ended their relationship later that year.

2015 saw me, overjoyed, as my beloved pair rekindled their relationship at the year’s beginning. Yet, come the waning days of August, the echoes of their heartfelt vows faded once more, as they suspended their engagement and parted ways permanently.

Following their engagement in October 2016, the duo became parents to their daughter Ella in August 2017. They got married in June of the following year after this happy event.

A little over a month ago, Prepon implicated Foster for chronic alcoholism during the course of their recently finalized divorce proceedings, in a legal document they submitted to the court.

The action was taken after Foster modified his divorce petition from March, stating ‘unsuitable behavior within the marriage’ as the cause for their separation.

As a die-hard admirer, I must say it was asserted that Prepon allegedly inflicted ‘harsh and inhumane treatment’ upon me, which she vehemently refuted in her subsequent statement. She, in turn, demanded solid evidence from her former self to substantiate such accusations.

Despite Foster’s claims, he said both parents with ‘fit and proper’ caregivers.

Instead, Prepon argued that neither she nor her partner were suitable parents in her rebuttal, and she suggested that their house should serve as the main residence for their children, a decision that eventually coincided with the divorce agreement.
