BEN FOSTER’S DRUNKEN HUSBAND GAMBIT

As a lifestyle advisor, I’d like to share some insights into the latest developments in the separation of Laura Prepon and her former spouse, Ben Foster. Each has recently leveled fresh allegations at the other during this protracted divorce process.

Stay tuned for updates as this intriguing story unfolds!

In a court filing made in Nashville on Wednesday, the 45-year-old actress stated that Foster, who is 44 years old, has been chronically intoxicated.

In reaction to his revised divorce petition submitted on Tuesday, he mentioned an additional cause – ‘unsuitable behavior within the marriage’ – as a contributing factor to the marital dissolution. Previously, he had stated that the split was due to ‘insurmountable disagreements.’

In documents made public by People, Foster also alleged that his spouse subjected him to ‘unjustifiably harsh and inhumane behavior.’ However, Laura refutes these allegations and requests solid evidence to support them. Similarly, she made similar accusations against him.

The couple’s separation date is listed as September 9, 2024.

Foster asserted that the mentioned ‘unbearably harsh and inhumane behavior’ makes continuing to live with Prepon ‘dangerous and unsuitable.’

Additionally, he has asked for shared custody of their two kids – a 7-year-old girl named Ella and a 5-year-old boy whose identity is not disclosed yet. He emphasized that both parents are capable and suitable guardians for the children.

On the contrary, Prepon contends neither party is suitable for shared care, custody, and control of the minor children. They insist solid evidence should be presented to support this claim.

Taylor Flicker, who played a significant role on Orange Is The New Black, aspires to be the main caregiver for the children, stating that this arrangement is in their best interest.

A provisional agreement established in January imposed limits on the amount of alcohol either party could consume when in the presence of their children.

According to the original order given by InTouch, it stated: ‘Both parties should avoid getting drunk with alcohol in the presence of minor children during their designated parenting time.’

They too concluded that if any individual needs to journey outside their state due to job obligations during their allotted parenting time, they should inform the other person in a timely and appropriate manner.

In addition, they decided that their staff should avoid making disrespectful remarks about each other when their children are present.

In response to Foster’s request for a temporary custody schedule, Prepon asserted in December that he has a long-term issue with alcohol abuse.

She requested that Foster should abstain from drinking alcohol for twelve hours prior to, as well as throughout, his time with the kids. Additionally, she claimed that he frequently engages in ‘alcohol consumption during the day.’

Last year, Rose Palermo, Foster’s attorney, refuted the accusations in an interview with the NY Post, stating: “Laura Prepon’s allegations are completely untrue and a deeply concerning fabrication. Her actions will unfortunately keep on causing harm to the children who have always been Ben’s utmost concern.

Ben filed for divorce on November 12, 2024 after six years of marriage.
