Ben Cohen insists he is ‘fighting to save his home and his relationship’ in moving court testimony on behalf of partner Kristina Rihanoff after she was caught driving her £30,000 Audi without insurance

Former rugby international Ben Cohen testified in court that he’s battling to preserve his family home and maintain his relationship with professional dancer Kristina Rihanoff, following an incident where she was found driving without car insurance.
Previously celebrated contestant of “Strictly Come Dancing,” Rihanoff, was spotted driving a 72-plate Audi Q3 in Horsemarket, Northampton, on the 4th of April.
At Northampton Crown Court, Kristina Pchenitchnykh, a Russian ballroom expert, wept extensively during last Friday’s hearings. At one point, she requested to step out of the courtroom as she was feeling unwell.
46-year-old mother of one, Rihanoff, accumulated 12 penalty points on her driver’s license, which could lead to a suspension of her driving privileges since the court added an additional six points to her record.
In Friday’s hearing, Cohen testified that he had failed to notice a text message from his insurance firm regarding an incident, before it occurred.
Previously a rugby star, and the grandchild of the late soccer legend who won the World Cup, George Cohen, acknowledged that he had been managing insurance for both their vehicles. Starting in February, he had been searching for a more affordable policy after receiving an estimated £7,500 quote from Aviva.
