Ben Affleck is still house hunting over a year after his split from Jennifer Lopez.

On the weekend, the 52-year-old actor took his dog for a leisurely walk. During this walk, he dropped by a house for a guided tour.

It was observed that he was inspecting a property being built in the Brentwood neighborhood, which is close to where his ex-spouse, Jennifer Garner, resides with their kids – implying he’s still searching for a new home following his relocation from the marital residence shared with Lopez.

For 14 months now, as stated in her divorce paperwork, the singer and her partner have been legally separated. Five months ago, they officially concluded their divorce proceedings.

On a casual Sunday, the actor known for playing Batman donned a black graphic tee, teamed with light-toned denim jeans, and completed the look with a pair of Nike athletic shoes.

After his move to a new residence worth approximately $20 million in the same location, which he acquired in July 2024, he decided to go out.

While he’s on the lookout for a new home, he was strolling along with one of his recent additions – a German Shepherd who serves as his security dog.

While Jennifer Lopez, formerly married to Affleck, began renovating the $21 million house she purchased following their divorce, which was finalized after two years of marriage.

The grand residence stands within the private, secluded neighborhood of Hidden Hills, which is also home to Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kylie Jenner, and Kris Jenner among their friends.

After their separation last year, Affleck has resided in a monthly rental property worth $100,000, located in the Brentwood region, which is only two blocks away from Garner and their kids.

In the autumn of 2024, he relocated to a luxurious $20 million property located in Brentwood, following the finalization of the sale for his five-bedroom mansion in July of the same year.

They’ve found it challenging to offload the luxurious Beverly Hills property, a $61 million mansion they jointly acquired in May 2023.

As a lifestyle advisor, I initially considered a private sale of this magnificent 38,000-square-foot residence, but eventually decided to put it up for public listing at an asking price of $68 million in July.

Referred to as Crestview Manor, this opulent property comprises a grand mansion with 12 bedrooms and 24 bathrooms, a spacious guest penthouse covering 5,000 square feet, a guardhouse with two bedrooms, a caretaker’s residence, and a garage capable of housing twelve cars.

This property features not only a home bar but also a fitness center, a sports area with a boxing ring, and both basketball and pickleball courts. Additionally, it offers parking space for approximately 80 vehicles.

Originally, the previous pair agreed to sell their house for $64 million to a purchaser from New Jersey. However, the agreement failed in September, and since then, the property has been back up for sale, with it being available again starting from December 2024.

TMZ reported that while the buyers remain ‘interested,’ the home remains unsold. 

A source told PEOPLE that Lopez and Affleck weren’t fully aligned when they bought the house. 

According to an insider, it was Ben who came up with the concept for the 68-million-dollar mansion, and this represented a significant concession on his part. Notably, the spacious design of the house perfectly suits their combined family.

As a lifestyle expert, I’d rephrase that as follows: While Lopez embraced a more enchanting, European-style ambiance, Affleck realized the location of the home was less than ideal for his Brentwood lifestyle and family commitments.

Following several months of rumors about their troubled marriage, Lopez officially filed for divorce in August. She marked April 26, 2024 as the day they separated on the legal documents.

In September, Affleck relocated to a house worth twenty million dollars in the area of Brentwood. This move brings him geographically nearer to his former spouse, Jennifer Garner, and their trio of kids.

2021 marked the start of Lopez and Affleck reconnecting romantically after being separated for 17 years. In July 2022, they tied the knot in a quick Las Vegas wedding ceremony. This was followed by an extravagant party at Affleck’s estate in Georgia, graced by many celebrities.
