Ben Affleck ‘has not been in touch with’ with estranged wife Jennifer Lopez’s two children ‘for a long time’

Following his legal split with Jennifer Lopez on April 26th, it appears that Ben Affleck has not maintained contact with their 16-year-old twins, Emme Muñiz and Max Muñiz, as per recent reports.
According to a source, Jennifer shared with the public on Sunday how fantastic a father he is.
‘The fact that he has not seen her kids in a long time, it’s like he left. But she is especially close to his kids.’
The well-known pop star, aged 55, had children (referred to as ‘coconuts’) with her third husband, Marc Anthony, during their seven-year union that concluded in 2014.
In June, Jennifer was able to attend the graduation ceremony for the 52-year-old Air director-actor’s 12-year-old son Samuel. Later on, she invited his 18-year-old daughter Violet to spend a week with her at the Hamptons in July.
‘She’s also close to Marc’s [four] kids from [his] previous relationship,’ the source claimed.
‘She keeps in touch with the children and she’s a good mom.’
Instead of keeping up the PDA-filled Instagram posts featuring her ex-fiancé Alex Rodriguez’s daughters Tashi (age 19) and Ella (age 16), Lopez has chosen to remove them all from her account following their breakup in April 2021 after four years together.
The pair once referred to as ‘Bennifer’, initially crossed paths on the film set of Martin Brest’s unsuccessful movie Gigli, Los Angeles, back in 2001. They unexpectedly parted ways just three days before their wedding in 2004. However, they secretly exchanged messages again starting from February 2021.
On the occasion that should have marked the second anniversary of their marriage, last Tuesday, the two-time Grammy nominee submitted divorce papers against Affleck at LA County Superior Court. This significant event took place at his 87-acre estate worth $8.9 million, nestled within the Hampton Island Preserve in Georgia.
Jennifer and Ben, who have placed their expansive 12-bedroom Beverly Hills residence on the market for an estimated $68 million, reportedly did not enter into a premarital contract. As a result, any assets they accumulated during their marriage are considered shared property under the law – as stated by TMZ.
In her Amazon documentary, The Greatest Love Story Never Told, which chronicled the creation of Lopez’s musical, This Is Me… Now: A Love Story, some viewers perceived that he participated with a certain level of hesitance or unwillingness.
‘[Affleck] was the one who had control, pretty much,’ a source told People on Sunday.
As an ardent admirer, I couldn’t help but wholeheartedly endorse this project. I was more than just supportive; I served as the catalyst that propelled Lopez to bring both the movie and the album to life. Not content with stopping there, I persistently advocated for a documentary as well. The narrative might have portrayed him as hesitant or even taken aback by it, but let me set the record straight – it was all a clever ruse.
The insider continued: ‘He definitely took it away from the director [Jason B. Bergh] so he could have the narrative he wanted out there…He not only supported that life, he encouraged it. It was almost like he’s justifying it. The need for the documentary was his idea.’
Meanwhile, it has been announced that both the Atlas series’ producer-actor Matt Damon, who also serves as a producer, and he are intending to attend the world premiere of Unstoppable on September 6th at Roy Thomson Hall during the Toronto International Film Festival. However, Dunkin’s brand representative has decided not to attend this event, as reported by People.
In the upcoming biography by William Goldenberg, set to release in December at selected cinemas, Jennifer takes on the role of Judy Robles, the actual mother of Anthony Robles, a wrestling champion with disabilities.
Affleck is involved in the production of director Bill Condon’s forthcoming adaptation of “Kiss of the Spider Woman,” featuring Jennifer Lopez portraying three distinct roles: Leni Lamaison, Marta, and the Spider Woman.
