According to KTLA’s latest update, it appears that Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, reside in the neighborhood. Early Sunday morning at around 4:40am, authorities responded to a suspected burglary call at their residence. Upon arrival, they apprehended two individuals who had violated the curfew and later released them.

On Monday, January 20, Harris, along with her spouse, has chosen to make their California residence their primary dwelling place, as reported by Page Six.

The intense winds that were fanning the flames have lessened, and it’s been reported that the Palisades fire has been held back to 31% of its original size. On the other hand, the Eaton fire is currently under control at 65%.

The death toll is currently listed at 27 according to CBS.
