Cruz Beckham has hinted that he is officially launching his music career on 14 October.
The youngest Beckham child has been recording an album in a studio and posted a photo on Instagram. The picture showed a pile of invitations with the date 14.10.25 printed on them.
Above the date, the invitations read: ‘Cruz D Beckham officially invites you, one night only.’
Cruz, age 20, has apparently agreed to work with C3, a leading music management company known for representing the American indie band The Strokes.
His 30-year-old music producer girlfriend, Jackie Apostle, has been helping out in the studio.
He posted a picture of the invitations to his Instagram story, and then a photo of a guitar with a winking-face emoji. This made fans think his event would involve music.
This is a significant milestone for the musician, especially considering he and his brothers have faced constant online ridicule for being labeled ‘nepo-babies.’ People often make jokes whenever they embark on a new career venture.
Brooklyn, age 26, has gained a bit of a reputation online as a meme, due to his various tries at different careers – he’s attempted cooking, photography, and even Formula-E racing.
As someone who keeps a close eye on what’s trending, I noticed Cruz addressed the playful ribbing about his older brother back in June. It all happened after he shared a video of himself playing the guitar – a really cool moment, actually! He decided to acknowledge the joke then, and it felt very genuine.
The post rapidly received over 15,000 likes on TikTok, but it also drew negative comments from online trolls – and Cruz was quick to respond to them.
Someone asked: ‘Will you stay in this position, or are you planning to pursue a different career, like becoming a race car driver?’
Cruz – appearing to subtly criticize his brother Brooklyn’s varied career choices – replied: ‘Wrong brother mate‘.
