Stand-up comedian Milton Jones has had to postpone several shows on his current tour due to being diagnosed with cancer.
On Instagram, Jones announced he received a diagnosis of treatable prostate cancer. He clarified that this would necessitate surgery, and as a result, he would have to temporarily step away from work to allow for proper recovery.
Apologies for any inconvenience, but I regretfully have to share some disappointing news – I’ve got to cancel a few shows from my current “Ha! Milton” comedy tour.
He went on to say: “The performances scheduled for Leeds, Coventry, Basingstoke, Sterts, Launceston, Durham, Hexham, Ilkley, Wakefield, Lichfield, Tunbridge Wells, Portsmouth, and Lyme Regis were all planned for this summer.
At present, Jones is traveling across the United Kingdom for his “Ha!Milton” performance series, with dates extending from May through July.

After receiving the news of my recently diagnosed, yet treatable prostate cancer, I find myself facing a challenging choice. I’ll be scheduling a surgery in the near future, and after the procedure, I’ll require some time to properly heal.
As a gamer, I’ve got some news for my fellow enthusiasts – the dates for my summer gaming events in Colchester, Bridlington, Stroud, and London have been moved to the autumn. The good news is that all additional autumn tour dates remain unchanged. So, let’s keep our controllers charged and our eyes peeled for the exciting times ahead!

“Thanks for your support and respecting my privacy during this time,” he concluded.
I didn’t arrive at this decision casually. Rest assured, we’ll return to normal operations as quickly as we can. I’m eagerly anticipating getting back into action, and hopefully, it won’t be long before we’re back on the road again – just not on a motorcycle this time!
As someone passionate about health awareness, I’d like to share that valuable resources and guidance for navigating life with prostate cancer, as well as treatment options, can be found through organizations such as Prostate Cancer UK and Macmillan Cancer Support. They are there to provide support and information during challenging times.
