Although it finished airing eight years ago, the popular ITV comedy Benidorm remains a fan favorite. With talk of a possible revival, a special event is planned to mark an important anniversary.
The popular sitcom first aired in February 2007, and its 20th anniversary is just around the corner. To mark the celebration, a special tour will visit venues across the UK in March 2027.
The live shows, called An Audience with Benidorm, will let fans enjoy a night with their favorite characters from the series. Sherrie Hewson, who played Joyce Temple-Savage, is the first cast member confirmed to participate.
The tour, as advertised, will be full of fun, memorable moments, and great stories, as the stars reminisce about their past. The event will also include a question-and-answer session with the audience and a chance to meet the stars.
The singing pair Han & Fran, who were finalists on last year’s Britain’s Got Talent, will be hosting a tour. More performers will be revealed soon, and the shows will be held at Glee Clubs nationwide.

Benidorm has a special charm, and this live show is a fantastic way to relive all the memorable moments with fans. Expect plenty of heartwarming stories, unexpected twists, and all the humor that made the show so popular, she explained.
Jack Woodhouse of Our Rita Entertainment explained that, with Benidorm celebrating its 20th anniversary, he wanted to create something to honor the show and allow fans to connect with each other.
I’m so excited! Apparently, we’re going to get a ton of behind-the-scenes stories and a chance to actually meet some of the stars – it’s going to be way more personal than just seeing them on screen. And get this – they hinted there are even more big names joining us that they’ll announce soon!
The tour is happening while people are speculating that the popular sitcom might return to ITV. The show’s creator, Derren Litten, revealed in April 2025 that he’s been discussing a potential revival with the network.
When asked if he’d been in talks with ITV recently, he hinted that he had. However, he clarified that ITV hasn’t currently ordered any specials or series, though they might consider doing so in the near future.
An Audience with Benidorm begins in Cardiff Glee Club on 8 March 2027, while Benidorm streams on ITVX.
