Bella Hadid ‘splits’ from cowboy boyfriend Adan Banuelos following two-year romance

Bella Hadid and Adan Banuelos, a professional horse rider, have reportedly ended their two-year relationship.

Entertainment Tonight reports that 28-year-old supermodel and horse trainer Banuelos have recently broken up.

I’m really heartbroken to hear about Gigi and Zayn. A friend told Entertainment Tonight that Gigi is taking the split incredibly hard, and it makes sense – they were so committed to each other, it was a really serious relationship, and it’s clearly hitting her hard emotionally.

‘She’s still processing it,’ the insider said, adding that the pair’s bond had been ‘very serious.’

Hadid is focusing on her work and spending time with loved ones to help her move forward. She’s intentionally keeping busy and trying to stay positive.

Despite the reports, the former couple are still following each other on Instagram. 

As a lifestyle observer, I first noticed whispers about these two back in October of last year! It all started when someone spotted them together down in Texas, and naturally, everyone started wondering if they were a couple.

Hadid often went to rodeo shows and spent a lot of time in that state back then.

By February 2024, Hadid and her partner had revealed their relationship on social media, posting cute photos of themselves together, including one of them wearing matching cowboy hats.

Hadid often talked about how much the relationship stabilized her, especially since she was juggling a busy career in fashion with a desire for privacy.

She previously credited her life in Texas with bringing her a sense of peace and stability.

This breakup represents another shift in Gigi Hadid’s life. She’s been open about focusing on her health, happiness, and close friends and family after slowing down her busy modeling career.

The Daily Mail has contacted Gigi Hadid’s team for a response, but they haven’t received one yet.

Neither Hadid nor Banuelos has addressed the breakup publicly.

In April 2024, Bella shared that she was pausing her modeling career after relocating to Texas with her significant other.

I’m finally being genuine and prioritizing my well-being. If I’m not feeling up to something, I simply won’t do it, and I’ll take the time I need to recharge,” she shared with Allure.

‘And I’ve never had the opportunity to do that or say that before,’ she continued. 

I truly am as happy as I appear in photos now. I’m doing much better, and even the difficult times I used to have seem good in comparison to how I feel now.

Adan is a highly skilled cowboy who made history by becoming the youngest person ever inducted into the NCHA Riders Hall of Fame, earning the honor at just 28 years old.

In a May 2025 interview with British Vogue, Hadid revealed she was ready to be a mom.

She shared that family is a big focus for her right now, and she’s really excited to become a mother. She feels she already plays a role in many people’s lives, but becoming a mom will be deeply personal and will change her life by allowing her to be someone people can always depend on.

She added that she’s really looking forward to the future. She never had a strong idea of what she wanted her wedding to be like, but she’s increasingly focused on wanting to be a mother. She feels like that’s something she genuinely wants and would bring her real happiness.
