Bella Hadid recently posted exclusive backstage images and videos, offering a sneak peek into her unexpected participation at the 2024 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show.
28-year-old top model, who shares a sibling (Gigi Hadid, aged 29) with the same runway appearance, shared captivating photos captured behind-the-scenes on her Instagram account last Thursday evening.
With almost 62 million followers looking on, she shared an intimate, up-close view of her lacey red lingerie ensemble with her audience.
In her caption, she simply added a white heart emoji with two wings on either side.
The carousel post has so far collected more than 1.1 million likes from her devoted fanbase.

Last night, she posted on Instagram saying, “I closed the Victoria’s Secret show. Never would I have imagined this! So proud to strut alongside such remarkable women.
‘We have a diverse range of individuals who embody various aspects of America, and our new team at Victoria’s Secret is introducing a refreshing perspective on lingerie, redefining how we view both the garments and the people wearing them.’
She finished the messaged with, ‘thank you,’ before tagging her glam squad.
The VS show marks Bella’s second runway return after taking a two-year hiatus from modeling.
She has just showcased her walk on the runway for the Saint Laurent Women’s Spring-Summer 2025 collection during Paris Fashion Week.
She made her runway debut again after a gap of approximately two years, with her last walk taking place for Victoria’s Secret back in 2018 – their final show to date.
10 years into her modeling career, Hadid shared with Allure in April, she found herself investing a lot of passion, energy, and hard work into an endeavor that, over time, may not have been fully reciprocating those investments.
On her resplendent comeback on Tuesday, the supermodel styled her shiny black hair with a central parting and smoothed it flat.
Upon seeing her hit the stage, fans flocked to social media to praise Bella’s homecoming.
‘Miss Bella Hadid, the people’s princess,’ one person wrote on X.
And she received a warm greeting from one fan who wrote online, ‘welcome back queen bella hadid.’
In 1995, Victoria’s Secret introduced its catwalk for the first time, and it was Tyra Banks who donned the inaugural pair of angel wings in 1998.
In simpler terms, Ed Razek, who used to work as the Chief Marketing Officer for VS’s parent company, L Brands, referred to their fashion show as an “imaginary scene.” He chose not to include transgender and plus-size models in the “42-minute spectacular event” that he described.
The contentious remark caused trouble for the company, ultimately resulting in Razek’s resignation in 2019 and the termination of the show due to public outrage and dwindling viewership.
Later on, Victoria’s Secret shifted their focus towards promoting inclusivity by featuring plus-size models in their future adverts.
In her groundbreaking role as the first transgender model for the company, Valentina Sampaio later landed a part in the VS Pink campaign following Razek’s departure.
