Bell & Ross’ BR-03 Astro Watch Depicts a Journey Through Space
Bell & Ross has revealed their brand-new timepiece, the BR-03 Astro. Inspired by space expeditions, this watch portrays celestial bodies like the Earth, Moon, and Mars moving across its dial, immersing the wearer in a cosmic experience. A tiny satellite circles around the Earth every 60 seconds to mark seconds, while the Moon represents minutes and Mars completes its orbit to showcase the progression of hours.
This watch resides within a 41mm-wide, micro-blasted black ceramic casing. The dial glass is sculpted into a spherical top, accurately depicting Earth in both size and image. The placement and weight of the hands were meticulously adjusted, particularly to align with the engraved Moon, resulting in a design that is harmonious and well-balanced. This timepiece represents a perfect blend of artistry and science.
The BR-03 Astro watch is modeled after the Cupola, the observation dome on the International Space Station (ISS), serving as a window to the cosmos. The design process was thorough, incorporating a decal application beneath the glass to preserve accuracy and clarity. Powering the watch is the BR-CAL.327 self-winding mechanism, which provides a consistent operation for approximately 54 hours.
Only 999 units are being sold, and you can purchase the BR-03 Astro watch directly from Bell & Ross’ official online store for a price of $4,800 USD.
