Beetlejuice Beetlejuice confirms streaming release date
As a long-time fan of Tim Burton’s whimsical world, I can barely contain my excitement for the streaming release of “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice”! Ever since the original movie left me spellbound in 1988, I’ve been eagerly awaiting a sequel that would recapture the magic and chaos of that iconic film.
Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has confirmed a streaming release in the US.
In this new version, we find ourselves delving into the highly anticipated continuation of Tim Burton’s 1988 dark fantasy film. The iconic characters played by Michael Keaton (as our titular poltergeist), Winona Ryder (Lydia Deetz), and Catherine O’Hara (Delia Deetz) make their return to the screen. Joining this stellar cast is Jenna Ortega, who takes on the role of Lydia’s teenage daughter named Astrid in the storyline.
Starting from December 6th, the movie which was screened in cinemas in September, will be accessible for streaming in the US via Max. As for the UK, the film will stream on Sky, but the specific date remains undisclosed at this time.
In the sequel, set years later since the initial film, a family tragedy brings Delia, Lydia, and Astrid back to their old residence at Winter River.
After the lingering influence of Betelgeuse, Lydia’s life is quickly thrown into chaos when her defiant teenager daughter stumbles upon an enigmatic gateway to the realm of the dead. (This maintains the original meaning while using more natural and easy-to-read language.)
Whenever someone calls out the name of Betelgeuse thrice, a trickster spirit cannot resist but come back with a grin, ready to wreak havoc in its unique and chaotic style.
The ensemble also features Justin Theroux, Monica Bellucci, Willem Dafoe, Burn Gorman, Danny DeVito, as well as Arthur Conti, who is known for his role in ‘House of the Dragon’.
The movie “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” made its entrance with an impressive 76% rating labeled as ‘Certified Fresh’ on the review platform Rotten Tomatoes. However, it narrowly missed surpassing the initial film’s score of 82%.
The cunning spirit portrayed by Michael Keaton in Tim Burton’s latest film offers a refreshing comeback, with its blend of entertaining physical effects and eerie humor making for an enjoyable experience,” is one way to paraphrase the original statement.
According to Digital Spy’s critique, we noted that the movie “Beetlejuice Beetlejuice” effectively maintains the eccentric essence of the original film, although not every brilliant concept it introduces fully materializes.
Beginning December 6th, “Beetlejuice” can be streamed on Max in the US. Meanwhile, the movie is currently available for purchase or rental via Amazon Prime Video, iTunes, Microsoft Store, and other platforms in the UK.
