Becky Hill is married! Singer stuns as she ties the knot to Charlie Gardner on Cornwall beach with Ella Eyre and Gareth Gates on the guest list – after four-year engagement

Becky Hill has married her long-time love Charlie Gardner. 

The couple, engaged since January 2022, got married in a beautiful beach ceremony in Falmouth, Cornwall, and their dog was there with them.

The singer of ‘Crazy What Love Can Do,’ age 31, looked stunning in a fitted gown complete with long gloves, a full skirt, and a delicate veil. However, she had to take her shoes off to walk in the sand, while her partner chose to wear sneakers.

The wedding drew a celebrity crowd, with singers Ella Eyre and Gareth Gates among those watching the ceremony from the beach, further solidifying the couple’s status as celebrities.

Former Pop Idol star Gareth Gates looked stylish in a suit and t-shirt as he arrived with his girlfriend, West End performer Allana Taylor, and took photos with the groom.

I always remember Gareth being so determined to keep his shoes clean! It was a funny sight – he’d wrap his feet in plastic bags! Meanwhile, Allana was much more practical and comfortable in her Birkenstock clogs.

Ella turned heads in a burgundy dress featuring elegant ruching and an off-the-shoulder neckline. She kept her look effortless with loose, natural hair.

Becky tossed her bouquet, and her guests playfully competed to catch it, continuing the traditional wedding custom.

The wedding took place at the luxurious Meudon Hotel, almost four years after she announced he had proposed during a trip to the Maldives.

The singer shared the exciting news with a series of photos and a playful caption: ‘Turns out he actually likes me!’ She also included a diamond ring emoji.

Becky and Charlie have been a couple for a decade. Becky is a successful musician with many hit songs, while Charlie, who works in event planning, prefers to stay out of the public eye.

Becky got engaged shortly after telling the Daily Mail that she struggles with traveling internationally, particularly because of outdated beliefs about LGBTQ+ identities.

Originally a derogatory term, ‘queer’ is now an inclusive umbrella term for people who aren’t straight or cisgender.

Becky came out as LGBTQ+ in 2021, but she was confused and troubled after an interview she did in Poland.

I was so moved when she shared with TopMob at the Jingle Bell Ball that one of the biggest challenges she faces is simply talking about who she is – being openly queer – when she travels to different parts of the world. It’s a really important point, and it resonated with me deeply.

I was recently in Poland and interviewed about my identity as a queer person, specifically how it related to being in a relationship with someone who also dates women.

The singer, known for her song ‘Wish You Well,’ explained that she always answers questions truthfully. However, she added that it can be challenging when perspectives in some parts of the world haven’t evolved to the same extent as they have elsewhere.

It’s time for everyone to accept that LGBTQ+ people are a part of society and will continue to be. Hopefully, people will learn to embrace and support the queer community with the same enthusiasm I feel.

She once shared with Attitude magazine that she used to feel like a fraud because she’d been in a long-term relationship for over five years. Now that she identifies as queer, she feels much more comfortable and authentic.

I believe it’s crucial for women to embrace their sexuality openly, rather than feeling pressured to present their attraction to other women in a way that appeals to men.

I’m attracted to women, and while I’m not sure how significant that attraction is, I prefer to identify as queer and be honest about it. I don’t want men assuming I’m just experimenting or interested in casual encounters with them.
