He publicly suggested his ex-fiancée, Bec Hewitt, ended their relationship because he lacked wealth.
It looks like Beau Brady, known for his role on Home and Away, has found love and recently shared a photo of his new girlfriend online.
The 43-year-old actor, best known for playing Noah in the popular Channel Seven soap opera between 2000 and 2004, has been posting pictures with Sarah Bonett, an interior designer from Sydney who has three children. The photos suggest a close relationship between the two.
Last month, the couple appeared to take Sarah’s children on a camping trip. Beau posted a photo of himself sitting with Sarah by the campfire, where they were enjoying drinks.
Beau also recently shared photos of the pair enjoying a romantic ski trip together.
These posts surfaced several months after Beau seemingly referenced his former partner, Bec, by sharing a sarcastic meme on Instagram. The meme read, ‘If you’re feeling down, just remember someone is dating your ex and believes they’ve found the one.’
Beau and Bec famously dated for four years after first meeting while working on the TV show Home and Away. Their characters even got married on the show!
In a 2010 interview with Woman’s Day, Beau admitted he regretted proposing to Bec, calling it “one of the biggest mistakes of my life.”
‘It was just a stupid, young mistake and if I had my time over, I would never, ever have proposed.’
During the interview, Beau sharply criticized Bec for quickly marrying tennis star Lleyton Hewitt right after ending their relationship.
You know, I’ve been giving it some thought, and honestly, I’m still a little puzzled about why Bec and I didn’t work out. It sounds silly, but I keep wondering if it was something superficial – like, maybe she wished I drove a fancier car, a Ferrari perhaps! It’s just a thought, but you never really know what goes on in someone else’s mind.
Beau said Bec began contacting Lleyton while they were still a couple, and that she suddenly went missing for over a week before ending their relationship.
He admitted he assumed it would be easy, saying, ‘Honestly, I just think I’m better looking than Lleyton.’
Beau’s character was killed off the show in 2004 when he was shot by Sarah Lewis, portrayed by Luisa Hastings Edge.

After leaving the show and ending his relationship with Bec, Beau appeared in several successful projects, including the TV series The Bill and Wonderland, as well as the popular film The Sapphires.
He moved to Los Angeles to pursue acting, but returned to Australia in 2007.
Recently, Beau has had smaller roles, moving from being on TV during popular viewing times to appearing in commercials during breaks.
In 2017, his reputation took a major hit when he was caught with cocaine at a high-end bar in Sydney.
One year later, Beau decided to turn his life around by enlisting in the Australian Army Reserve.
