Gillian Anderson recently revealed details about her quick but stylish trip to Paris, where she spent just two days this week.

The 57-year-old actress, in town with L’Oreal, looked fantastic in recent photos, showcasing her stylish black dresses for a night out.

One dress stood out with its elaborate gold flower pattern across the front. It had a halter top and a body-hugging fit.

Gillian styled her blonde hair in loose waves and wore natural-looking makeup, finishing the look with a light pink lipgloss.

She showcased a second dress – a stylish one-shoulder design with a keyhole opening and a flattering peplum waist – and paired it with strappy heels.

She also gave a glimpse into her visit to the L’Oreal Paris laboratories, where she discovered the innovative science that powers their products.

Gillian looked the part, wearing a white lab coat over her black outfit and heels.

Along with her photos, she posted: ‘I was a science geek!’ What a fantastic field trip to the L’Oreal Paris labs. It was really interesting to learn about the groundbreaking science and innovative formulas used to create their products.

This trip happened shortly after Gillian publicly congratulated her Sex Education colleague, Aimee Lou Wood, for receiving a nomination at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

The 31-year-old actress has received a nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Drama Series at this year’s Actor Awards, formerly known as the SAG Awards.

Aimee received the nod for her portrayal of Chelsea in the third season of HBO’s The White Lotus.

She first gained widespread recognition in 2019 playing Aimee Gibbs in the Netflix series Sex Education, alongside Gillian Anderson, known for The X-Files.

Gillian posted a series of selfies with her former colleague, Aimee, on Instagram Wednesday, as a way of celebrating her.

‘So proud and happy for you @aimeelouwood, congrats on your @actorawards nom!!’ she wrote.

Aimee is nominated for an award and will compete against her “White Lotus” co-star, Parker Posey, at a ceremony in March.

Britt Lower from Severance, Keri Russell from The Diplomat, and Rhea Seehorn from Pluribus are also included in this category.

Janelle James, from Abbott Elementary, and Connor Storrie, from Heated Rivalry, revealed the nominees for the 32nd annual awards on the Netflix YouTube channel. SAG-AFTRA president Sean Astin introduced the announcement.

The Actor Awards will be held in Los Angeles on March 1st and will be live-streamed on Netflix. While a host for the 2026 ceremony hasn’t been named yet, Kristen Bell hosted the event last year.

Harrison Ford will receive the 2026 SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award.
