The murder mystery series “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder,” featuring Anna Maxwell Martin, has secured a fresh streaming platform for viewers in the UK to enjoy it.
First airing on BBC iPlayer last summer, the show stars Martin opposite Wednesday star Emma Myers.
In this scenario, Myers portrays the role of Pip Fitz-Amobi, a student studying at the A-level, who takes it upon himself to delve into an unsolved murder case. Meanwhile, Martin assumes the character of Pip’s mother, Leanne.
Five years following the tragic slaying of a 17-year-old girl in a peaceful English village, a dedicated student vows to expose the hidden truth and bring the true culprit to justice.
In Britain, the show is now available on Prime Video for subscribers, allowing them to watch it before the second season starts.

The mystery novel titled “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” can also be watched online, with it now accessible on both BBC iPlayer and Netflix, as they added it to their streaming libraries last month.
After its debut, the show received generally positive reviews from critics. Currently, it boasts an impressive 83% score on Rotten Tomatoes, with _LA Weekly_ describing _A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder_ as “compelling.
In a fan’s perspective, I found the captivating series, “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder“, absolutely mesmerizing. By blending teen drama with intriguing crime procedurals, it has created an irresistible blend that kept me hooked. The young cast delivered solid performances that made the characters endearing and relatable.
According to Variety, “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” captivatingly explores the turmoil of adolescent girlhood, the intricacies of friendships, and the deceitful nature of outward impressions.

The AV Club’s review notes that although Myers sometimes struggles with a slight British accent, he is generally exceptional as Pip and highly engaging to watch. Furthermore, the esteemed Maxwell Martin delivers an outstanding performance as his mother.
The New York Times stated that Myers’s captivating portrayal skillfully and emotionally combined elements of panic, remorse, shame, resilience, bravery, apprehension, and obstinacy.
Enjoy on your own, or share it with the extraordinary young individual in your company. Regardless of who you’re with, there’s bound to be a touch of entertainment, though it might not turn into an all-out party. – The New Statesman
