BBC’s hit ‘80s-set crime drama with stacked-British cast gets trailer ahead of anticipated return
The BBC has unveiled a teaser for the second season of “The Gold,” providing viewers with their initial look at the ongoing probe of the heist from the previous season.
Back in the year 2023, I found myself captivated by a gripping crime drama that unfolded the real-life tale of a daring heist. A group of six heavily armed individuals made their way into the Brink’s-Mat security vault, only to stumble upon an astounding £26 million in gold bars.
On June 8th, Sunday, The Gold will air six more episodes. The characters Brian Boyce (Hugh Bonneville), Nicki Jennings (Charlotte Spencer), and Tony Brightwell (Emun Elliott) are back on the case, pursuing those criminals they didn’t quite manage to apprehend in their previous investigation.
