BBC series A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder has been renewed for a second season.
This year, the screen adaptation of Holly Jackson’s novel was released, featuring Emma Myers from “Wednesday” in the role of teenage character Pip Fitz-Amobi. Over the summer, Pip delves into the mystery surrounding the murder of a local schoolgirl that occurred five years ago.
As a gamer, I’m thrilled to share some exciting news! Our favorite broadcaster just announced that another six-episode season is in the works, set to roll next year. Can’t wait to jump back into the game world!
In the upcoming series, Myers will team up with Zain Iqbal, who is also known as Ravi Singh, and both of them will be working together. Meanwhile, author Jackson and season 1 writer Poppy Cogan will join forces to write the episodes for this new season.
In the summary for Season 2, it’s stated that following the resolution of the Andie Bell case, Pip’s life has undergone significant changes, not all of which have been positive.
Pip is set on resolving the aftermath of the situation, intending to steer clear of further probes. However, with Max Hastings’ trial looming, crucial witness Jamie Reynolds mysteriously vanishes. Now, Pip must hurry to locate him before time runs out.
This intrigue deepens, leading Pip on unanticipated journeys as she grapples with the concept of fairness, drifting even more from the ‘upright’ image she previously held.
Jackson expressed great excitement about the chance to carry on Pip’s tale, and he’s particularly enthusiastic because this time, he gets to write for the show! We owe our success to the devoted fans, and I can hardly wait to be reunited with my AGGGTM family!
