The BBC has unveiled an impressive first look at its upcoming reboot of Walking with Dinosaurs.
This year, the legendary 90s docuseries is coming back to our screens! Each episode will focus on a single dinosaur whose fossils are currently being discovered by paleontologists.
Recently, the BBC unveiled some initial images of their CGI reconstructions featuring two creatures: the Albertosaurus, akin to the T-Rex, and the Pachyrhinosaurus, similar to the Triceratops, which are related species.
Or, more informally:
The BBC just revealed a few sneak peeks of their CGI remakes, showing us two dinos – the Albertosaurus (like a T-Rex) and the Pachyrhinosaurus (like a Triceratops). They’re related dinosaurs.

The six-episode series will vividly depict ancient creatures using the latest scientific advancements. Experts will have an unprecedented opportunity to understand their daily lives, hunting habits, conflicts, and even deaths in greater detail than ever.
Unearthing dinosaur bones, this series breathes life into ancient tales by employing cutting-edge visual technology. Each installment offers an enthralling dino-drama, grounded in the most current findings.
In 1999, the initial “Walking with Dinosaurs” was aired, featuring Kenneth Branagh as the narrator; however, there’s uncertainty about whether he’ll be part of the upcoming remake.
The program pioneered the use of computer-generated imagery (CGI) in documentary production to depict ancient life, which led to the creation of a “Walking with…” series featuring creatures, early humans, and marine mythical beasts.

In 2013, a film adaptation of “Walking with Dinosaurs” was unveiled, featuring John Leguizamo (from the animated movie “Encanto”), Justin Long (known for “Goosebumps”), Angourie Rice (famous for “Mean Girls”) and Karl Urban (“The Boys”).
Earlier, we discussed the fresh take on a classic show, and here’s what the head of BBC’s commissioning for specialist factual, Jack Bootle had to say: “The original program was one of the most thrilling factual shows ever made, and this modern adaptation continues that incredible heritage.
Each installment combines cutting-edge scientific findings with captivating plotlines, making it an engaging choice for dinosaur enthusiasts as well as those who enjoy a compelling narrative.
Walking with Dinosaurs will air on BBC One and BBC iPlayer later this year.
