I remember getting off the bus and there were these two teenage boys, maybe 15 or 16, standing near the door. Suddenly, they grabbed and pinched my bottom! I was so shocked and angry, I immediately turned around and punched one of them, and let them know exactly how I felt!
I’m not justifying it, but it happened in the heat of the moment. Immediately afterward, I was scared – I was a young woman alone, and I worried about the consequences.

I was relieved that my reaction surprised them, especially as I was getting off the train. Had I stayed on board, I don’t think I would have wanted to face them.
Naga Munchetty, known from shows like *Strictly Come Dancing* and *Celebrity Mastermind*, recently published a book called *It’s Probably Nothing*. The book explores the difficulties women often encounter when seeking medical care.
The book, *It’s Probably Nothing*, delves into the many healthcare challenges women encounter. The author shares her personal story alongside those of other women, and consulted with doctors and experts throughout the writing process, as she explained in a December post on X.

Naga Munchetty’s new book, released in May, examines how deeply rooted sexism in medicine has harmed women, drawing on her personal experiences with being dismissed, and both incorrectly and slowly diagnosed, according to the book’s description on Amazon.
She received messages from many women and their families who described being dismissed by doctors – told their symptoms were either typical or psychological. These stories show the damaging effects of not being taken seriously, leaving countless people to suffer with ongoing, debilitating illnesses.
