BBC Breakfast‘s Naga Munchetty got the giggles on today’s show as she suffered an on-air oopsie.
While Naga and her fellow host Charlie Stayt smoothly transitioned from discussing the weather to the next topic, an unexpectedly loud sound echoed.
In a slight retreat and with a furrowed brow, Charlie questioned her: “Are you so upset about the upcoming story that you’re secretly nudging items beneath the table? Or is it something like that?
Naga exclaimed, ‘That’s my water bottle!’ After a chuckle and gathering her thoughts, she mentioned that the upcoming segment really gets her worked up.
The twosome moved onto discussing an issue at hand – whether it’s appropriate for individuals to play loud music on public transportation instead of using headphones, and the Liberal Democrats’ proposal for imposing bans and penalties if rules are violated.
Outside of presenting the news, Naga has a book coming out next month.
Under the title “It’s Probably Nothing“, the book delves into the challenges women face in seeking proper diagnosis and treatment within the healthcare system. It aspires to inspire women by showcasing potential improvements and positive changes that can be made.
In 2023, the speaker shared details about a challenging health issue she’s managed since her adolescence – adenomyosis.

For thirty-two long years, Naga endured her health issue undiagnosed. It wasn’t until she experienced continuous bleeding for an uninterrupted month that medical professionals finally confirmed her diagnosis.
