Celebrating India’s 79th Independence Day could be made even more special by reminiscing and enjoying the vintage feel of PUBG Mobile, now rebranded as Battlegrounds Mobile India! To make this dream a reality, KRAFTON has organized the “Battlegrounds Mobile India OG vs NG Legacies Clash Face-off.”
Instead of just celebrating India’s Independence Day conventionally, why not spend it playing Battlegrounds Mobile India, which brings back the nostalgia of PUBG Mobile? To make this a real experience, KRAFTON has arranged the “Battlegrounds Mobile India OG vs NG Legacies Clash Face-off.
In this friendly competition, athletes from the 2019-2021 period and those currently active are set to compete against each other in an attempt to emerge as winners. This article delves into the details of the BGMI Independence Day Face-off tournament’s format, team lineups, and schedule, which is scheduled for August 14th and 15th.

The Old vs New Legacy Battle teams will take you down memory lane
Krafton India has recently shared on their social media platforms the participating teams and their rosters for the game. Many of the original players from the initial stages are included, such as Soul MortaL, TeamINDScOut, Hydra Dynamo, GodL Jonathan, and numerous others.
In this tournament, both Team SouL and 8Bit will field two separate teams, with one team from each representing the historical squad (legacy) and the current active roster of their respective organizations. This way, we’ll get to compare the old and new lineups from these teams.

In addition, we’ll feature the current national champions, Team Aryan x TMG Esports. These champions recently represented India in the PUBG Mobile World Cup held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Here is a list of participating teams along with their respective players:

BGMI Independence Day Face-off: Schedule
The much-anticipated clash between OG and NG, known as the Legacy Battle, is set for the 14th and 15th of August. In total, these teams will compete in an exciting lineup of thirteen matches . These matches can be categorized into two types: Main Matches and Show Matches.
In this event, the Show Matches will take place using World of Warcraft (WoW) game mode, while the main matches will occur in the standard Battle Royale maps. On the first day, a total of seven matches are scheduled, including the opening one. The second day promises six matches. Here’s the complete schedule for the tournament:
