Battlefield Labs Testing Unveiled, Set to Go Live in the ‘Coming Weeks’

EA has unveiled the establishment of “Battlefield Labs“, described as the most extensive community testing program ever in the franchise, allowing players to preview the upcoming Battlefield experience during a crucial stage of its development.

In the upcoming weeks, the preliminary phase of testing for “Battlefield Labs” will commence. If you’re interested in participating, feel free to sign up using the provided link. Initially, a select group of players will be invited to test on servers spread across Europe and North America. The goal is to gradually broaden this opportunity to more participants and additional server locations over time.

Vince Zampella, Respawn’s head and EA Studios Group GM, mentioned that he had been enjoying Battlefield well before he became part of the team. He believes this game holds tremendous promise, and since we are still in pre-alpha phase, it’s an excellent opportunity for everyone to test the experiences our teams have been developing for the upcoming release. By using Battlefield Labs, our teams can effectively explore that potential.

As the Battlefield Labs trials continue, regular updates will provide a glimpse into its development process, ensuring that those not part of Battlefield Labs can still follow along. The insights gained from these tests will influence the next Battlefield game and future titles as well.

The upcoming Battlefield game is being developed as a joint effort by the original series creator DICE, support studio Ripple Effect, developers of Dead Space and Star Wars Squadrons (Motive), and Criterion, known for their work on Need for Speed and Burnout.
