Battlefield 6 Early Gameplay Leaks Online From Battlefield Labs Playtesting

Some early gameplay clips for the upcoming Battlefield title (possibly named Battlefield 6) have been released on the internet, courtesy of individuals who took part in the restricted Battlefield Lab playtesting sessions.

According to TheGamer, Twitch streamer anto_merguezz has started streaming live gameplay from the exclusive Battlefield Labs playtest. This event allowed selected players in Europe and North America to get their hands on the upcoming Battlefield game as it moves into a crucial stage of development.

As a dedicated gamer scouring anto_merguezz’s Twitch channel, I found no captivating gameplay clips, but it seems someone has cleverly salvaged footage from their Twitch stream and scattered it across the web, primarily on Reddit. True to form, these snippets hint at a rumored comeback in a contemporary era, and the gaming community can’t help but be captivated by the sneak peeks they’ve witnessed so far. This might explain why these clips are still readily available online.

It’s quite promising to see this initial glimpse, considering the rather chilly response that Battlefield 2042 received at its launch, leading Electronic Arts (EA) to acknowledge that it didn’t meet their performance targets. This upcoming Battlefield title is planned to feature a full-fledged campaign, something missing from Battlefield 2042. It’s anticipated that the new game will be launched within EA’s fiscal year, which spans from April 1st, 2025, to March 31st, 2026.
