As an ardent fan of both Sabrina Carpenter and Barry Keoghan, I find myself utterly enchanted by their heartwarming love story unfolding before our very eyes. The way Barry gushes about his girlfriend’s work ethic and talent, it’s evident that he is truly in awe of her. Having worked alongside Sabrina on the Please Please Please music video, I can personally attest to her dedication, vision, and unparalleled creativity.

Barry Keoghan expressed a sense of pride when he learned that his girlfriend, Sabrina Carpenter, received her initial Grammy nominations for the 2025 awards event.

On Friday, during his interview on The Jess Cagle Show with Julia Cunningham on SiriusXM, the 32-year-old actor expressed his enthusiasm for the 25-year-old pop star.

‘I’m really, really happy for her,’ he said about the six nominations she secured this year.

‘I gotta get on the phone soon,’ he continued before joking. ‘Don’t put me on the spot, lads.’

In a subsequent comment, the Saltburn star commended Carpenter’s dedication based on his personal and professional experiences of collaborating with her, including their roles as romantic partners in her “Please Please Please” music video.

He marveled, “I haven’t met anyone who works as diligently as her. Her dedication, the quality of her work, and the high standards she maintains, particularly while working on that music video, are truly inspiring.

‘She knows the vision, she knows what she wants, and it’s, yeah…,’ he continued.

The nominations for the 67th annual Grammy Awards were announced early Friday morning.

In her initial nominations, Carpenter managed an impressive feat by receiving a grand total of seven, with nominations in prestigious categories such as Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.

His praise for his girlfriend comes shortly after he made an appearance on a podcast and also brought up how proud he is of his girlfriend.

In response to Louis Theroux’s question about their relationship, he expressed his deep gratitude by saying, “To be honest, I feel extremely fortunate.

He added that his girlfriend is ‘such a strong, independent lady, who’s massively talented and yeah, pretty special.’

The actor continued: ‘I was in Please Please Please. Great video. Great music.’

Keoghan and Carpenter were first romantically linked in December 2023.

Ever since, they’ve generally kept their relationship under wraps, yet they’ve added fuel to the speculation by appearing together at various functions, such as the Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March.

At the 2024 Met Gala, their arrival as a couple was undeniably evident when they showed up together and affectionately posed for a photograph, snuggling up to one another.

In June, Keoghan appeared as Carpenter’s romantic interest in the video for her Grammy-nominated song “Please Please Please.

The track served as the second release from her album “Short n’ Sweet”, which is said to include other tracks that hint at her relationship with Keoghan.

At the forthcoming Grammys, Carpenter was nominated for six awards for her albums from her sixth studio release titled “Short n’ Sweet”.

She has been nominated for Best New Artist, and her album Short n’ Sweet is also a contender for both Album of the Year and Record of the Year awards.

Her song “Espresso” has been nominated for both Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance, while “Please Please Please” is in contention for Song of the Year.

Short n’ Sweet is also up for Best Remixed Recording and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical.
