As a long-time admirer of the gritty drama series Peaky Blinders, I find myself deeply saddened by the recent turn of events involving one of its talented cast members, Paul Anderson. Having followed his career since his days on The Bill, I’ve always been impressed by his ability to bring depth and complexity to his characters.

On a chilly Friday in Yorkshire, Barry Keoghan made his debut appearance on the set of the upcoming Peaky Blinders film.

In his role as a 32-year-old actor, he’s currently filming scenes with fellow performers Sophie Rundle and Tim Roth. At this point, details about the nature of his character remain scarce.

The Saltburn star looked every inch the Peaky Blinder in a flat cap, grey suit and overcoat.

In the bustling city of Bradford, Barry was spotted trailing right behind Sophie, stepping into a building, while movie cameras captured the moment for the eagerly awaited film.

Sophie, aged 36, once again stepped into the shoes of Ada Shelby, donning a vibrant red ensemble that included a coat, skirt, and accessorized with a coordinating hat and lipstick.

In simpler terms, when newcomer Tim Roth arrived at the building, he was seen carrying a firearm and later exited with a leather bag that Ada had brought inside.

Main lead Cillian Murphy has been seen in recent weeks filming the project in Birmingham.

48-year-old main star was spotted caked in mud and bearing a cut on his facial area, along with a horse, as he took up his renowned character of Tommy Shelby again for the forthcoming movie recently.

The Oscar winner played the gangster in the multi-award winning BBC series from 2013 to 2022 and is now back for a big screen outing, alongside new cast members  Barry, Rebecca Ferguson and Tim.

As your go-to lifestyle guide, I’m thrilled to share an exciting update! While details about the storyline remain shrouded in mystery, renowned screenwriter Steven Knight continues his role, and director Tom Harper, who masterfully led episodes during the initial season, is back at the helm. Stay tuned for more updates on this intriguing project!

As a lifestyle aficionado, I recently learned that Saltburn’s renowned personality, Barry, has become part of the show’s ensemble. However, the specifics about his character are still under wraps and eagerly awaited by fans like myself.

Barry has had an impressive career over the past few years starring in Saltburn, Top Boy and The Banshees of Inisherin.

In June 2024, Netflix officially confirmed that the movie project had received the go-ahead and was set to start filming by the end of the year.

It has been verified that the original writing and directing crew behind “Peaky Blinders” are set to return, along with Cillian Murphy, for the Netflix movie rendition of this popular British TV show.

Netflix verified the report using a picture of the script, whereas the Academy Award-winning actor informed Deadline saying, “It appears that Tommy Shelby isn’t done with me…

It’s truly rewarding to work together again with Steven Knight and Tom Harper on the movie adaptation of Peaky Blinders. This project is especially exciting for us, knowing it will please the dedicated fanbase.

10 years back, when I initially took charge of directing Peaky Blinders, we weren’t certain about the series’ future, but we sensed that the chemistry between our talented cast and the powerful writing was like a potent explosion waiting to ignite.

As a devoted admirer, I can’t contain my enthusiasm as I join forces once more with Steve and Cillian to share the cinematic tale of ‘Peaky Blinders’ with viewers worldwide through Netflix. The story has always revolved around family, making this reunion all the more captivating.

2013 saw the debut of the hit series “Peaky Blinders,” which quickly gained massive popularity not just in the UK but also abroad. This acclaim led to high-profile acting roles for notable figures like Tom Hardy and Anya Taylor-Joy on the silver screen.

The show draws inspiration from a genuine Birmingham group, sharing the same name, active between the 1880s and 1920s. This real-life gang engaged in similar illicit activities as their fictional counterparts.

The gritty crime drama “Peaky Blinders” spanned six seasons across nine years, culminating with Tommy, who’d been deceived into thinking he had a fatal condition, outliving an attack masterminded by his own nephew. After avenging himself by taking his nephew’s life, Tommy chose to start fresh in a new chapter of his life.

However, the news about Paul Anderson, who portrays Arthur Shelby, Cillian’s elder brother on the series, has raised worries for his wellbeing, as he admitted guilt to having crack cocaine in his possession earlier this year.

The 46-year-old was also found to have amphetamines, plus diazepam and pregabalin on him.

His continued erratic behaviour in recent months has prompted concern for his welfare.
