Margot Robbie is in talks to star in Tim Burton’s Attack Of The Fifty Foot Woman remake.
A 35-year-old actress is reportedly under consideration for the main part in a new film by a 66-year-old director, set to be released by Warner Bros. Moreover, she might also serve as the producer of this movie through her LuckyChap production company, according to The Inquisitr’s reports.
In simpler terms, the 1958 sci-fi thriller tells a tale of a rich heiress who experiences an alien encounter and subsequently grows to enormous size. This transformation leads her to seek retribution against her unfaithful spouse.
Last year, it became known that Burton was set to both direct and produce a remake, with Gillian Flynn, the author of Gone Girl, penning the screenplay.
Andrew Mittman and Tommy Harper are also producing with Kai Dolbashian as executive producer.
Instead, it’s been reported by Variety that Flynn left the project because of prior obligations following the completion of a first draft of the screenplay. Now, the production team is actively seeking a replacement writer.

Margot’s involvement would depend on the final version of the script.
In the meantime, Margot is planning to create a prequel for the Ocean’s series under her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment. Additionally, she will appear in the film alongside her fellow Barbie co-star, Ryan Gosling.
Although specifics about the plot remain unclear, news suggests that the upcoming Ocean’s prequel will be set in 1960’s Europe. In this film, Brad Pitt (Robbie) and Ryan Gosling are portrayed as the parents of Danny Ocean (George Clooney) and Tara Ocean (Sandra Bullock).
Initially, the Austin Powers director, Jay Roach, was set to take charge of the film, but it’s now Lee Isaac Chung from Twisters fame who will be steering the project instead.
In 1960, the original Ocean’s Eleven movie hit the screens, featuring an all-star cast from the Rat Pack: Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr., Peter Lawford, and Joey Bishop, who embarked on a mission to execute the most daring robbery in Las Vegas.
2001 saw a fresh start for the franchise under the direction of Steven Soderbergh, with an impressive cast that included George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon, and Brad Pitt.
In simpler terms, Ocean’s Eleven is a movie about the charming crook Danny Ocean (played by Clooney), who gathers a group of talented individuals for a daring plan – stealing from three major casinos in Las Vegas during one unforgettable night.
As the complex plot unfurls, smooth deceit and individual interests intertwine in an elegant dance of danger and advantage.
The intricate scheme unravels, revealing a mix of cunning deception and personal gains in a sophisticated play of hazard and benefit.
The film was followed by the sequels Ocean’s Twelve in 2004 and Ocean’s Thirteen in 2007.

In 2018, the Ocean’s series carried on with the female-centric Ocean’s 8, featuring Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna, and Helena Bonham Carter as its leading ladies.
The news emerged a few days following Margot’s visit, where she enjoyed cocktails at the renowned O Beach club owned by Wayne Lineker in Ibiza.
Last week, the self-admitted party enthusiast, known for her fondness for the popular nightspot Infernos in Clapham, took a trip to Ibiza.
It was Kiki Truman, daughter of Tony Truman (one half of the club’s ownership) and actress Charlie Brooks, who identified Margot at the club.
Tony’s photo shows him, his daughter Kiki, and another person enjoying drinks together, all of them smiling broadly in the picture while Tony is wearing a brown wrap dress with a red and gold patterned headscarf, aviator sunglasses, and his daughter is also seen.
In Tony’s post while sharing a photo, he expressed: ‘When my daughter introduces me to a renowned actress, Margot Robbie, at the Ocean Beach Ibiza stage, casually and without fanfare.’
In a casual conversation, it was revealed that they had rekindled their shared fondness for taking shots, and Kiki hinted that their next shot-taking session would be in celebration of completing a movie together.
‘Let’s hope so darling both very talented actresses who both love partying & Ibiza.’
Wayne Lineker, one of the owners at Beach and the brother of soccer legend Gary Lineker, re-posted this photo on his Instagram Story with the comment: “Ha ha! Of course it happens when I’m not around [lightly rolling my eyes].
