Barbara Bach, now 79, became a popular figure in America in the 1970s and 80s after playing a memorable Bond girl in the film The Spy Who Loved Me, starring alongside Roger Moore.

Almost 50 years later, the actress brought to mind a photo of her husband, Ringo Starr, from his time with The Beatles.

As she parked up and fed the meter, she almost became Lovely Rita herself.

Paul McCartney, a member of Ringo’s band, wrote the song after receiving a parking ticket near the Abbey Road studios in London. It went on to become a beloved classic featured on their famous album, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band.

Barbara was determined not to get a parking ticket like Paul did, so she made sure to pay more than enough to avoid any trouble with parking enforcement.

Barbara, looking wonderful at 79, has been married to Ringo Starr for 44 years. They first met in 1980 while working on the movie Caveman, and quickly fell in love – the famous Bond girl found her match in the iconic drummer.

She first became well-known for playing Anya Amasova, nicknamed Agent Triple X, in the tenth James Bond film. The movie featured a villain’s scheme to destroy the world and build a new civilization underwater.

Before her current role, she was a highly successful model, featured in major fashion magazines like Vogue and Elle.

She became famous for a 1981 photoshoot in Playboy magazine, following a connection with a major rock star the previous year.

The couple faced a lot of difficult times when they first got together, including a serious car accident and struggles with addiction. They eventually sought help at a rehabilitation center together and completely changed their lives. They left behind their wild, fast-paced lifestyle and now focus on helping others and follow a vegetarian diet.

After four and a half decades together, she still looked radiant and stylish.

The American actress looked effortlessly stylish in her outfit: sleek black pants, a graphic tee, a blue blazer, and pink-and-black sneakers. She perfectly blended comfortable, athletic wear with professional business attire.

She finished her outfit with a stylish black handbag, several gold bracelets, a dainty necklace, multiple gold rings, and a pair of classic aviator sunglasses.

Although her husband couldn’t join her, 85-year-old Ringo has been working hard on her new art show, which will open at the Animazing Gallery in Las Vegas.

This collection is inspired by the colorful ‘Spin Art’ designs of the 1980s, and all money raised from its sales will go to the Lotus Foundation charity.

After getting sober together in 1988 through rehab, the couple later co-founded the Lotus Foundation in the 1990s.

This organization provides funding and support for charities that help vulnerable animals and improve people’s lives. They work on a variety of important issues, including addiction recovery and care for those with life-limiting illnesses.

The couple got married in 1981 at the famous Marylebone Town Hall in London, only a year after they first met.

From that point on, Bach and the Beatles legend became very close, touring together frequently. Bach also appeared in several of the musician’s music videos and even gave him ideas for song lyrics.

Although Bach and her husband didn’t have children together, they both had families from previous relationships. Bach has two children – a daughter named Francesca, age 47, and a son named Gianni, age 44 – from her marriage to Italian businessman Augusto Gregorini. They divorced in 1978 after being married for ten years.

As a bit of a family guy myself, I always find it fascinating learning about blended families. Ringo Starr, of course, has a lovely one! He and his first wife, Maureen Cox, had three sons – Zak, who’s 50, Jason, 48, and Lee, who’s 45. It’s wonderful to see how families grow and evolve over the years.
